I will never use this company again! I made an online booking for a return journey to a wedding reception and the taxi never arrived. I rang them on numerous occasions and there was no answer!
Absolutely amazing service!! 5* doesn’t do it justice, got messed about by lots of companies and they saved the day, had two different drivers one there one back and both were genuinely the nicest people you could ask for! Would definitely recommend whether it be a short return or airport run these are the people you need! Also the best prices you will find anywhere around!!
Took a party of 9 to and from a wedding venue at a few hours notice. When they couldn't send the appropriately sized vehicle they sent the bigger bus with loads of room. They also sent a text and link with vehicle tracking which always kept you up to date brilliantly. Would happily use again.
I'm not sure of the drivers name but he was a god send on new years day morning (5oclock). Good price and very polite driver. He had patience and even waited an extra hour for us to be ready, let use stop for food and eve came back to drop off a phone that was left in his vehicle. Absolute legend! I would definitely be requesting this driver again In the future and would definitely recommend this company if in need of a taxi in Sheffield
Don't use Apollo Taxis. I've just paid £9.80 for a £5 journey. Driver failed to locate Nether Edge (after ignoring my directions), stopped for three minutes to argue that my road doesn't exist (and kept the meter running) and then took the longest route possible to my flat. Absolutely unacceptable.
This review is about the Apollo Taxis rather than any individual drivers, as the taxi I ordered was 30 minutes late and I cancelled it. The company didn't even call to update me on the whereabouts of the service and when I did call twice to ask, they were rude and acted like I was unreasonably impatient.
Rubish!!!!!! They operator sleep all the time at the phone.... They always late... Tonight we book a taxi we was wait 30 min outside... We call them where is the taxi and they say its dont had drivers because full booking.... Saturday night omg dont had any taxi.... Lol all its rubish!
Absolutely terrible: gave them all correct details (taxi to collect at 12pm in the afternoon). They called back 5 mins later to confirm the details again (which were all incorrect), so clarified once more........They then called me at midnight the night before having again incorrectly noted the time and thinking I needed picking up so clarified once more. The next day in the afternoon, at the correct time....they didn't show.
Extremely poor service. Rang twice the day before to book and then double check that everything was in order for an early morning 5am pick up to take us and our bike to the tour de Yorkshire start. Assured that taxi was booked and bike would be taken. No taxi came whatsoever. Tried to call several times but no one picked up at all. We were stuck with no options and had to flag down a black cab after walking to the city centre. Almost missed our start time for the race and was a stressful morning.
