   Let down by Uber never confirming, despite suggesting it would in 12 minutes when booking. We called Rays taxis our dinner reservation just 15 minutes away. Rays taxis arrived in 5 and had us there on time. Great service and the price cheaper than the Uber we were offered. Driver was lovely too.

   Absolute Rip off ! Just got a ride with this firm and got charged £10 for a 1.8 mile trip that would have cost £4.48 with Uber ? Thought I’d use local company direct to support local companies. There was no meter and car was dirty and driver had no customer service skills. When I asked why it was so expensive he said it’s Sunday which is more expensive. Lesson learnt, stick with what you know , Uber .

   This is the best taxi service in the history of Matlock, they went above & beyond to take me home even on a Sunday! When the other taxi company’s was super Awful & didn’t care! (Why don’t they do small journeys?????) The boss was really friendly & here’s a great thing honest, now that’s great customer service! :) Rays taxis deserves to be the best taxi of the year & now I will this service for the rest of my life, I was in tears of happiness which is a great feeling! WELL-DONE :)
