I have recently been in hospital for lung ablations. I was in HDU. I would like to share and give my thanks to all the staff for the first class care and treatment I had. My special thanks go to Philippa, Faith, Theresa, Karen and Mel. Not forgetting Dr Evangelos Skondras and his team. They are not not only highly skilled in their professions their care and kindness was second to none. Kindest regards and best wishes Patrick Oliver

The staff at Harefield Hospital saved my life about three years ago when I had a major heart attack. If I could give this place a thousand stars then I would. I was rushed here in an ambulance and a team was waiting for me. A few seconds later I was in an operating theatre surrounded by the most professional, kind and skilled people one could ever hope to meet. Within about twenty minutes I was in recovery, very glad to be alive. I then spent three days in Harefield being looked after by the most incredible team of nurses and specialists imaginable. I can't even begin to tell you how thoughtful, professional and kind they all were, taking great care of the patients twenty-four hours a day. I am for ever in the debt of the staff at Harefield - everyone from the surgeon through to the cleaning staff who keep the place immaculate are absolutely brilliant.

I had a catheter ablation at Harefield Hospital on 20th August and was very impressed with the professional yet caring attitude of everyone I came across in the catheter lab and Oak ward. A special mention to Annabelle the outstanding nurse in the Oak ward, nothing was too much trouble for her, she made my stay as comfortable as possible and for this I am most grateful. Everyone in the lab were absolutely amazing too, too many to mention and very much appreciated.

I had a double lung transplant on the 14th of February 24. It went quite well. From the cleaners to the nurses, doctors, and surgeons, they are all lovely, friendly, helpful, and polite. They really get to know you and greet you by name and have great bedside manners too. There is a bus stop on the grounds, parking and a restaurant too. There are lovely grounds and beautiful flowers in the summer. I actually enjoy coming here, considering it's a hospital. The rooms are a good size, and have a mini fridge and tv too. I have added some lovely pictures I took last year at various times, inside and outside the hospital grounds. If you are lucky, you might see the pair of local red kites, which is wonderful to see. I highly recommend this wonderful hospital and all staff. Thank you all for taking such good care of me.

I had a Bi-Lobectomy at Harefield hospital July 2nd 2020. Although a terrifying time i was made to feel very relaxed by all the incredible attentive and caring staff. Everthing was done very professionally and in good order. After the operation I was in Cedar 2 ward. The only downside was the occasional beeping of some of the monitors but other than that a peaceful and relaxing ward with lovely views of trees and the grounds. All the Nurses in the ward were very Friendly and nothing was a problem. The ward, shower and toilet areas were all immaculately clean. Even iss who did the catering/cleaning had wonderful staff who cheerfully cleaned and took orders for meals and drinks and delivered them. The food all in all was excellent! If you are having an operation at Harefield don't worry you are in VERY good hands.
