We delivered at Barnet Hospital and Iβm leaving 4 stars because the experience was mixed. The C-section operation team were excellent β professional, calm, and supportive. Weβre truly grateful for the surgery care. However, our time in Victoria Ward was very disappointing. We felt the care was not attentive and one midwife was not responsible. Even after we clearly explained our situation, the midwife Chederica was not honest during discharge. She told us the ward didnβt have ibuprofen and other medication, and said we could get it free from the pharmacy. When I went to the pharmacy, they told me that was not true and that the ward should not have said that. There was no need to lie β just communicate clearly. Excellent surgical team, but the ward experience and discharge communication were not caring or reliable. Hopefully they can do better.

Absolute disgrace. Still waiting more than 9 hours now at the A&E department to get examined by a GP. Arrived at here at 11pm now 8 am. You might as well dying not set foot in this lousy hospital. Completely broken. Same number of people from 2 am as you see in the pic.

My experience at Barnet Hospital was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The overall organisation felt chaotic, and the level of communication with patients was far below what anyone should reasonably expect. Waiting times were excessive, with little to no updates, and it often felt like staff were overwhelmed or simply unavailable when help or information was needed. The environment didnβt inspire confidence either β everything from the long queues to the lack of clear direction contributed to a stressful and frustrating visit. While some individual staff members tried their best, the system as a whole clearly isnβt functioning well. I left feeling unheard, poorly informed, and let down. I genuinely hope the hospital takes steps to improve its patient care, communication, and overall efficiency, because the current experience is unacceptable. I wait 7 hours then leaving without any resultsβ¦ Stuβ¦..pt

Attended for a Venogram recently. I found where I was supposed to be easily. The nursing staff were so friendly and helpful, reassuring me at every stage. One nurse introduced herself to me who I had spoken with on the phone earlier in the year. She had been so helpful explaining the purpose of the Venogram and arranging when I should attend. When taken to x-ray room it was like walking into a science fiction film set. Again, really lovely nurses and the radiographer explained everything. After the procedure they showed me on a screen what they had found, fascinating to see. Back to the ward where I was offered tea, coffee and a sandwich. The doctor came to see me to explain where we go from here in a really friendly, reassuring way. For that I am truly grateful. Thank you to all the medical team, 5 stars does not seem enough

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of care provided by this hospital, especially in the maternity ward. It is unacceptable that only one doctor is available, and even then only for a very short time to check patients. This shows a serious lack of responsibility and care towards mothers and their babies. I expect better from a healthcare system in London. The current situation is shameful and requires urgent improvement.

They are the worst hospital that anyone can ever go to. I took my daughter there the other day, they sent her home saying she has tonsillitis with nothing wrong with her tonsils then I take her to royal free and she has pneumonia. I went there with a lump on my neck, they told me it was nothing I go to the royal free and turns out I had stage 2 Hodgkinβs lymphoma (cancer). My grandpa who suffered with Alzheimerβs, they gave him the wrong medication and killed him. If you care about your life and your loved ones go else where.

Brought my son in on New Yearβs Eve with a broken arm. I can only say the whole experience from check in to discharge was outstanding! We were in and out in 3hours and all doctors and nurses made our encounter so easy and caring. We were visiting london for New Years and they made us feel so welcome. Well done NHS! My son actually enjoyed his visit and wanted me to say a big thanks to the team on duty for everything.

Whilst the medical treatment of our teenage son was slow it was thorough. The reason for the 1 star rating is due to the exceptionally rude security guards who spoke to us and other patients like sub humans including an elderly couple who were just sitting down in the closed Costa coffee area. I speak to people with respect but these employees are a disgrace to the NHS!

Visited A&E with my 7months old baby, waited over 7hrs as there was only one DR working. They wanted a urine simple as my baby was not feeding, vomiting and had diarrhoea for the past few days. After a long wait my baby was examined on my lap as there was no beds, they had lost the urine simple and sent us home with nothing. The service was awful babies/children sleeping on chairs. Please take your children else were where they can be looked after properly.

NOT 5 STAR.... JUST SO YOU SEE IT. My mum wasn't allowed in with me, even after having a very bad panic attack and telling the nurse I suffer with anxiety. The security guard was letting some in whilst others had to wait outside in the cold. I had my blood pressure checked, still had it on my arm deflated. Was talking to my mum on the phone, one sassy male nurse asked me to get up and move seats as another wanted to use the blood pressure machine ( when I stood up I felt funny). I said "one sec", before I could say goodbye to my mum and slowly stand, he had ripped the arm band off and pulled the machine out the wall. Never met such a rude nurse, overall he had a terrible attitude. Sat there waiting for another 45 minutes in a different waiting room (a total of 7 hours). An older lady sat next to me and had been waiting 2 hours for a brain scan, when the xray guy asked if the sassy nurse could help undress her, he groaned and walked off. Another older person wanted their son with them whilst he was having a blood test, he was told "you don't need him, it's just a blood test". My bloods came back "normal" , and they didn't offer me a Covid test, but kept asking if I'd took one. Went to my GP, I have Covid and a Vitamin deficiency.... They didn't test for what I said could be wrong in the first place!!!! Dont trust these people, they are rude and don't care. No compassion. In the end I walked out. GO ELSEWHERE IF YOU CAN!!!!!
