Not an ideal place to be. Did my physio work done, 15 sessions and I am still not able to walk and climb stairs properly . Furthermore, I am having to do things myself some benefit comes out from that hospital so I can’t measure any mishaps. The session aren’t as helpful as I would like this is just one of those things to go on yourselves. At least they give opportunity to rehabilitate.

A life-changing nightmare in Rheumatology – avoid at all costs! I sought emergency care at this hospital’s rheumatology department during an active flare-up of severe inflammation. Despite being referred there in critical condition, I endured months of agonizing waits, arriving barely able to use my hands amid excruciating pain. Shockingly, they provided zero treatment and scheduled my follow-up six months later. Over those months, my joints suffered irreversible damage, turning a treatable crisis into permanent disability. This gross negligence has ruined my quality of life. If you don’t want to risk becoming wheelchair-bound, steer clear of their rheumatologists forever.

I had an appointment at the Early Diagnosis Centre two weeks ago, where I interacted with several staff members, including nurses and a doctor. They were very friendly and empathetic, which helped ease my nerves before the procedure. I only wish that the people I’ve encountered at my GP's office were equally kind and understanding of my concerns.

I took my mum to her annual eye screening at the Diabetes Centre and was absolutely disgusted by what I saw. There was a pile of bins left out right next to the waiting room in full view of patients. When I asked the receptionist about it, she seemed completely unfazed and simply said the cleaner was “probably” cleaning the rooms. We were at the appointment for over an hour, and in that entire time, the bins were never moved. I didn’t see any cleaners either. This is completely unacceptable. Hospitals are supposed to be clean, hygienic, and free of such obvious health risks. Leaving bins in patient areas is not only unprofessional, it’s a serious safety concern. Very disappointed with the lack of basic cleanliness and accountability.

I visited the Mile End Early Diagnosis Centre, which is conveniently located right by the main entrance. The centre was very clean and modern. The reception is polite and helpful. The staff are outstanding in providing patient care and support. I was anxious and felt cared for as a person. The advice and aftercare is first class. I highly praise all members of the Mile End Early Diagnosis Centre team.

Had a very good experience today at the Mile End Hospital Early Diagnosis Centre. The place was clean, the staff were great, professional, and personable, and the procedure was handled with care and professionalism. I was stressed when I walked in but I felt welcomed and in good hands very quickly. Thank you!

I had an appointment at the Mile End Early Diagnosis Centre and all I can say is, it had to have been one of the best hospital experiences of my life (unfortunately I’ve had a few!). Every single staff member at the EDC made me feel at ease, were kind, professional and caring. The room in which was my recovery room was spotlessly clean and the whole area had a sense of calm about it - needed for what can be a nervous experience. Thank you to all the hardworking staff who made my time at the EDC much more pleasant.

I went to have a routine colonoscopy just over a week ago. Never had sedation as I had no one to take me home. The staff, procedure and care was exemplary. I felt very secure and safe. Thank you to the surgeon and staff.
