My daughter had day surgery here a couple of weeks ago, and we had a very positive experience. The staff were incredibly nice, caring, and attentive throughout the entire process. They made sure my daughter felt comfortable and reassured before and after the procedure. Everything was well organised, and we felt confident that she was in good hands. I really appreciate the professionalism and kindness of everyone we interacted with.

My daughter had spinal surgery on Wednesday. She is delicate and anxious. The staff on Savannah ward are absolutely amazing. They have gone above and beyond for my daughter. And Sarah the play specialist was there to support my daughter every visit before and during surgery. All the staff are out of this world

The design is very child senory bright snd colourful. We had a 16-minute walk from Water East train station it was literally a straightforward walk. The hospital is well signposted once you enter. They have used a water theme and different receptions, and departments have a unique name. Once inside, the first thing that stands out is the theme, toys, and play areas. It does not look like a hospital, so you can see children being excited to attend. We were seen by 2 different staff, both friendly and welcoming. We had to use a translator and just a quick call someone connected. We also attended the blood centre walk-in service, which was across the compound.

Outstanding. My son was seen here by the feeding disorder team. The professionals were by far the most knowledgeable that I’ve ever experienced. They actively listened and we were able to formulate a plan of support that really worked for my son. Easy to contact after the appointment and gave me a lot of helpful advice. They also called the school and visited my son there on another occasion to observe and offer strategies to support. Parking is tricky, so go by train and walk over Westminster Bridge.

OUTSTANDING CARE!!! The Mountain ward nurse in charge was not made aware by the transferring that we on the way, so she made their poor planning clear and clicked her fingers, in which three nurses cleansed the bay and made the bed in about 60 seconds. The nurses introduced themselves and communicated well placing my daughter the patient first in terms of the conversations and treatment. We were then seen by the consultant within less then 5 minutes. A clear treatment plan including surgery, was established and this was discussed every step of the way with me and my better half. The nursing staff, surgeons and Doctors were so positive, caring, attentive to my daughter and us as parents. On the operation day the nurse in charge sent the school up to offer colouring, reading to distract my daughter from her anxieties around the operation - absalute example of "OUTSTANDING CARE". I have been here now for 7 days and I now have my daughter back. This hospital are leading by far in pediatric medical care. Every multidisciplinary team decision made was the right one and they saved my daughter. I work in the health and social care profession and don't compliment lightly. Alot could be leant from the teams at this hospital and ward. A huge thank you for everything !!!

No one wants to have to go to the hospital with their baby but Evelina made the experience as easy at possible. I accompanied my 14 month old granddaughter for an EEG scan and was impressed with how they have made the hospital feel welcoming. The lady doing the scan was caring, understanding and knowledgeable. Thank you.

My son was transferred here from our local hospital at 3 weeks when he was in heart failure, they found he had quite a big hole in his heart which was a shock as it wasn’t found in any scans I had. The staff were all so lovely and caring, they not only looked after my son, they looked after me and his dad emotionally and sorted a room at ronald mcdonald house for us. The surgeon was great and my son is now a happy 8 month old
