Incredibly professional and helpful. It always feels like they're putting the patient first, even for non-urgent conditions. At my appointment today I was referred for a blood test (painless - thanks Fran!) and a scan. The test was straight after the appointment with results in 48h, and for the scan I was offered a next-day slot or one in a week - and that's at Christmas too!

Profits are all they care about!! I dropped my friend off and waited with her for her surgery. Unfortunately her recovery was awful. No sleep, inadequate pain relief. Surgeon and Nurse manager gaslighting my mate telling her that all her symptoms were all linked to her anxiety disorder.... Of which she doesn't have an anxiety disorder. Eventually my mate was so traumatised, that she went home, even though she knew she wouldn't even manage to get out of the taxi. All they were concerned about was the fact that the bed was potentially blocked to an NHS patient, so they weren't getting their income for a bed. Wound not sutured shut, just glued and of course now an open wound. Plus an allergic reaction to the dye used for X-ray. Pain relief and post op care dire. The taxi driver even advised my mate that she should've been transferred home by ambulance as needed a stretcher! Taxi driver had to drive so slowly, due to the pain and recent surgery. The porter nearly dropped my mate when they were attempting to transfer her in to the taxi! When she arrived at home, she had to slide out of the taxi on her bum, as she was unable to bend, due to the surgery. This took about 10-15 minutes and lots of effin and jeffin. There will always be an occasion where by a planned operation may have different results afterwards and should always be prepared for the unexpected. In this case, there was no planning and my mate is very traumatised. She is still recovering, yet it has had a massive knock on effect on her other health conditions. If only she was properly looked after, given adequate pain relief and able to sleep, just for an extra night, would've potentially made her healing much faster. Certainly less stressful on the body and mind. Sadly they were reluctant to keep her in for another night, and trauma and not feeling safe, made my mate leave Being Neurodivergent, and female, we respond VERY DIFFERENTLY to medications/treatments. When she told them how she has previously responded, or not responded to medications in the past, it was obviously ignored. Then turned against her cos she said she was feeling anxious about the surgery pre op...... However, being anxious and having an anxiety disorder are 2 very different thing's. Absolutely appalled by the treatment that my mate was given. That nurse manager and surgeon need to look at how they don't gaslight patients ever again. Oh... The anaesthetist also needs to learn how to communicate with his patients!! Just sticking a mask over someone's face without telling them what you're doing is wrong. My mate had bruising on the bridge of her nose (she doesn't bruise easily!!) from the anaesthetist pressing down so hard on her face, then suddenly an ODP was attaching a BP cuff to her arm.... Patients should ALWAYS be informed of what is happening to them and asked if it is ok to do so. It wasn't a safe space going in to surgery, so not surprised my mate's recovery since has been dire! Not recommended to stay here for any treatment or surgery in the future. The only positives were that the recovery nurse was truly amazing and explained everything. The housekeeping staff were very supportive and acted humanely.

Had a fantastic experience at Parkside Hospital! Saw Mr Proctor for a consultation and he quickly sorted me out with an MRI and physio referral. The whole process was super smooth and easy. Massive shoutout to the Radiology team — they made me feel totally at ease and were really caring throughout. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made sure I got the best treatment. Honestly, couldn’t ask for better service. Highly recommend!

My son had an appointment with Dr. Al-Suad, and I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding care we received throughout the visit. The administrative team were so welcoming and efficient, setting a very positive tone from the start. Dr. Al-Suad was excellent — thorough in his examination and highly professional. He referred my son to Professor Sharma for an echocardiogram, which was carried out to the highest standard. Professor Sharma was also extremely professional and reassuring. After a long day, my son needed a blood test, and Francia from the phlebotomy service was exceptionally kind and gentle, providing great reassurance and care. Overall, the service was first class at every stage — truly an example of excellent teamwork and patient care.

I cannot fault the consultants at this hospital, however, dreadful experience with administration/accounts and overall customer service. Communications are not replied to. Prices are not transparent, conflicting quotes that even when communicated in writing are not honoured. This is not good practice and certainly not what you would expect from a private hospital. Looking at other reviews, unfortunately this doesn't look like a one-off incident. Would look elsewhere next time.

Got referred to this hospital through my insurance for tests and the hospital just didn't contact me! So had to cancel my appointment and get a new one. I've had the tests done and I'm still waiting on my results... They also sent me an invoice for my tests that are covered by my insurance, I tried to contact them a week ago regarding this and they still have not replied. They take a long time to do anything, they don't reply to emails and phone lines are only 9-5 so difficult to contact. Would not recommend coming here.

Right from the outset I found Parkside in Wimbledon to be extremely approachable and helpful. My consultant was understanding, sympathetic, knowledgeable and reassuring to my situation. Therefore my visit gave me the result I wanted with more information and the right treatment . I Would definitely recommend.

Arrived slightly early for my scan appointment at the hospital. The radiology manager happened to be passing by the reception, she gave me a very warm and comforting welcome with a big smile, and handed over the paperwork I had to complete. All staff members were extremely attentive and very friendly! Extremely pleasant experience, 5*’s for the whole team :)!

I have a full hip replacement surgery booked in at Parkside. I was very worried and anxious when I attended my medical assessment. On arriving at the hospital I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who directed me to the right location. I then met two beautiful friendly nurses who made me feel most welcome and relaxed. Its a wonderful hospital as all the staff I met on that day were so helpful and friendly. I would love to see the same service given in every hospital in the UK, but that is just a dream I think, maybe in the distant future. Thank you to those two beautiful nurses and the rest of the staff at Parkside.
