Excellent patient care from a great team where I had a two night stay following surgery. A very attentive , sympathetic, supportive and professional team at Woking Nuffield at every level. And the food was good. I highly recommend this hospital.

Was a day case for a hernia repair procedure. The atmosphere throughout the hospital was welcoming & empathetic. Throughout my visit, I always knew exactly what was going on, what would happen next & what I had to do. The friendly empathetic & professional staff created an atmosphere in which I felt totally safe. On discharge, Florin made sure that I knew exactly what to do at home & what to do, & who to contact, if I had concerns, in a thorough & comprehensive manner that I have not experienced before either within the NHS or privately.

The staff at Nuffield Guildford were so lovely for my procedure today. Amanda and Loredana were the nurses who I met, they were friendly and made me feel relaxed. And my surgeon Mr Lohn was caring and professional. My experience couldn't have been better. Many thanks to them all!

I recently had a partial knee replacement and I can't praise Nuffield Woking enough! My first impression (always very important!), Emma at reception, a delightful and professional young lady who put me at ease straight away! I met Mr James Platt my surgeon and immediately felt in safe hands. Mr Platt is extremely knowledgeable and explained everything to me without jargon. Mr Platt was recommended to me and I can understand why! The staff at the hospital all speak extremely highly of Mr Platt. The operation was a complete success and I will be requesting Mr Platt again for my partial knee replacement on the other knee. The care I received was second to none, I honestly felt as if I were in a hotel, nothing was too much trouble, the food was amazing and the day and night nurses were exceptional. A special mention to Fiorentina, she was warm, kind, cheerful and I felt as if I were the only patient in the hospital. I am now at week 6 post op and would also like to mention Grace in the Physiotherapy department, Grace is extremely knowledgeable and is guiding me along my recovery journey. Thank you so much Nuffield Woking it has really been a pleasure. I can honestly say that I am looking forward to my next partial knee replacement.

Absolutely incredible service! I’ve just had ACL surgery here and was quite apprehensive before as this was my first operation, however each and everyone of the staff members from the physios to the nurses, the surgeon, anesthesiologist, reception, overnight staff etc were all amazing. The food was great, the call button service was instant, and the nurses always looked genuinely happy and willing to care for my every need. Even after leaving the care continues from extensive and tailored information on how to recover in the most optimal way. I’d highly recommend this establishment.

Nurses are lovely but reception and admin staff have been unprofessional and discriminating. Only came here because the surgeon works from here but if you can avoid this hospital.

Just had a wrist surgery there, a day operation, and all the staff are very nice. Everything was on time there were no delays, and the procedure went smoothly. The nurses are all very kind. Especially, Peter and Mary Ann. Thank you everyone

I was referred to this hospital from Exeter for knee surgery and the organisation was awful. I wasn’t reassured and they told me that they can’t reassure me and they don’t know what’s happening. They didn’t even know my age and thought I was 19 and that on the letters it said my surgeon was a plastic surgeon. So there isn’t much hope, I was left waiting having no idea what was happening and a nurse referring to a mri scan like her holiday to the Maldives. Which really doesn’t make any sense. If you’re being referred to this hospital just stay with your previous surgeon and wait, so unprofessional and the lack of communication or compassion is just dreadful.

I’ve always had great care at this hospital, from the nurses and staff who looked after me when I had an op, to the physio department, to my surgeon himself. The building is a bit dated if you compare it to the Guildford Nuffield, but that’s the only fault I can really find with it

Great care from beginning to end, loss of a star is because of the wait I had to go down for my procedure, arrived at 12.30, got admitted all checks done, so no food after 7.30am and no liquid after 11.30am.. 4pm I was still waiting and started to feel unwell so called the nurse in and was taken down shortly afte. Apart from that i was very happy with my care thank you to the the team that looked after me,was under the care of Dr King and 3 days after surgery I'm feeling better already.
