   I was sent unexpectedly to phlebotomy today and so rather than risk the queue at CUH I decided to go to Purley Hospital. I am so glad I did. I saw Wendy, the phlebotomist who was astonishingly fantastic. For only the second time in my life I could honestly say I didn't feel the needle going in. She was so well organised that it took mere moments for the three or four files of blood to be taken. People always struggle getting blood from me, A&E on Sunday were horrendous but Wendy was amazing. She could certainly teach them a thing or two. Please don't ever leave Wendy.

   WENDY : A simply beautiful & kind human - the nurse who took a blood test from my daughter who was extremely anxious leading up to it. Wendy was brilliant throughout and made my daughter feel at ease & relaxed. No one likes taking blood test but Wendy was calm and made it all stress free. The nurses there are under a lot of pressure, the waiting room was wall to wall with people…. How they cope with that kind of pressure every day - admirable!

   Excellent experience again at the X-Ray department in Purley hospital, From the friendly receptionist who checked us in to the lady radiographer who was so patient and helpful with my elderly Mum. It was busy but enough seats and everything was meticulously clean. We were in and out in less than an hour. Only downside was there wasn’t a disabled bay so we had to pay for parking but at least we got a parking space. Don’t mind paying for parking when you receive such great service. Thanks NHS staff :)

   Rude receptionist on pathology counter. No eye contact no greetings treated everyone like a third class citizen. She definitely needs a strong customer service training. Apart from that pathology team were amazing.

   I have visited the dermatology department on two occasions. The doctor was so professional, giving great advice and explanation. Even offered follow up appointments. The care and service was excellent, very impressive!

   Have been trying to ring the number given for gp initiated blood tests for three days. No one ever answers, there's no queuing system and you can't leave a message. You just get cut off after 20 or so rings. The main hospital reception are completely unhelpful and just refer you to the same number. Claim to know nothing about any issues. Hopelessly bad service.

   Attended with husband in wheelchair for 11.20 blood test.. We were there early. Huband also needed an X-ray Clerk on desk suggested we went to Xray to see if it could be fitted in early before blood test. Off we went and we were attended to very quickly. Lovely radiologist. A member of staff showed us through the back corridors to phlebotomy dept. No waiting there. Patient staff again as husband not mobile. We were out of the hospital by 11.25. A very pleasant visit .

   Had a walk-in X-ray and blood test appointments. Came in by 9am and got both done in about 30 min. Friendly staff, very helpful but most importantly very effective. Thanks for your good and fast work.

   This is very convenient and the service is relatively quick, especially compared with Mayday Hospital. I went for an X-ray and it was done in 30 minutes, with a smooth process from checking in, waiting and being called. The car park is expensive but on street parking across the road is free for an hour. Alternatively, there is a much cheaper car park next to the church, which is next to this hospital.
