   Very efficient staff. Clean facilities. Always plenty of parking space. Free drinks (albeit some are not to my taste…) However, it lacks the human touch from North Downs, which is part of the same group but a lot more friendly and welcoming. Overall nothing to complaint over but treating patients with a little more empathy and being less matter of fact and business-like would be welcomed. I always feel it’s a transaction when I’m here, not part of caring for my wellbeing.

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel safe, supported and well looked after. A very special thank you to my surgeon, Mr. Dhia Al-Musawi, for his professionalism, kindness and the reassurance he gave me before and after the procedure. His calm approach and clear explanations helped me stay relaxed, and I am truly grateful for the care he provided. Thank you to the nurses and the entire team for your warm attitude and gentle support throughout my recovery. I felt respected, heard and treated with genuine compassion. I am very thankful for everything you did for me.

   I received absolute amazing care from my arrival to the hospital to the moment I left. I had a colonoscopy and everything was explained to me in full and what to expect before, during and after the procedure. I felt I could ask questions at any time but I didn’t need to as everything was explained so thoroughly and so well. An amazing team that worked like clockwork!

   I had total knee replacement surgery here 5 weeks ago (carried out by Mr Kantak) and everyone involved in my treatment was great. A particular mention must go to Needa, Lyn and Tamara who cared for me so well along with Claire on my final day before discharge. Thank you all.

   I went in for a laparoscopic cholecystectomy under Dr Al-Musawi. I received my appointment within 2 weeks and from pre op assessment, to surgery to aftercare, I cannot fault it. Dr Al-Musawi was very informative and caring. I could not recommend him enough. The surgical team and ward staff were also amazing and I'm so appreciative for all your help whist I was there.

   I had an ACL reconstruction at Ashtead Hospital and I couldn't be happier with the time I spent there, the staff were all great, the nurses were all really nice and attentive and spoke through everything in great detail prior to leaving. The rooms were clean, private and the food was also surprisingly nice. Only reason I have given a 4 star is I feel I wasn't offered every type of surgery equally and the surgeon had largely made up his mind on his preference of surgery, although, I would say I haven't had issues with the surgery choice.

   Going to the doctor or the hospital can be quite awful for some. Seeing the friendly staff as you walk in, one immediately feels a little more relaxed. The place was immaculate - not that we expect anything less but it's comforting to know that if they take such great care of their facilities how much more will they take care of your loved ones. Hopefully I won't need to make use of their services anytime soon but if I had to, this is one place I wouldn't mind relying on.

   From the very start to the finish my Mother and I would like to thank everyone at Ashtead Hospital for organising and especially Mr Cobb for giving her a full replacement knee. For eight months my Mother couldn’t walk for more than 100 or so yards and now she is back to normal life! Thank you so much!

   I wouldn't even give them half a star, booked a dermatology consultation based on the information advertised on the hospital website, the appointment lasted less the 10 minutes charged £210, and the consultant referred me to Amazon to buy a product, no prescription, no invoice and I was told I will receive a " letter of advice" . there weeks now and no letter, no advice, just made to feel like a fool paying all that money to be referred to Amazon. I had to complain and demanded full refund, but I am very annoyed for the waste of time.
