The Royal Marsden is a proper top notch hospital. I felt really looked after and cared. I never had long time waiting and all the therapies were really effective. Also, the medical team and the nurses staff were really kind, friendly and highly professional. A special thanks to Dr.Boyd, Dr. Erthall, Mrs. Lucy and Mrs. Evangeline.

Sweetest most caring staff. And the volunteers are amazing people. Plus of course amazing treatment quality goes without saying.

I am a patient at this hospital and have annual outpatient appointments and blood tests. Normally, I'm very impressed with the staff but on my last visit, unfortunately not. I was looking for a dept but couldn't find it so I went back to the main desk to ask and fumbled over my words a little due to tiredness. The lady on reception said "So, you're looking for the Oak Cancer Centre?". I replied "Yes please". She replied "You could have just said that"! I apologised and said I was tired and walked away feeling I'd had a telling off and was really upset. I wish I had taken her name but may go back at some point to see if I can find out. Terrible attitude. However, the phlebotomist was lovely.

I visited the Royal Marsden today for ( hopefully!) my last tumour markers blood test! They have looked after me through my chemo treatment ( which take place during lockdown) . After 5 years of cancer treatment, I hope to discharged and be considered a 'cancer survivor'. The new Oak Centre is very smart and have a more efficient service with your name coming up on a board when it's your turn to have the blood test rather than having to take a ticket. You also get a message on your phone. I am so pleased to live somewhere where the care of cancer patients I is good and it helps that this branch is a short drive from my home.

Absolutely brilliant my mum was on her final steps and they overturned her just like that. Thank you for your magnificent help and also the professor to try and use the new treatment on my mum and he was a success. She still going through the treatment and is looking well and building hopes for us all if it wasn’t for you guys, I think I’ll be out with my mum thank you for your support and help

The Royal Marsden in Sutton has been somewhere I wish I didn't have to go to (though I'm also grateful the hospital is only up the road!). I had six weeks of Radiotherapy and plenty of contact from the hospital. The hospital has a lot of support available as well as a Maggie's centre in the grounds who have been really helpful. We've even dined in the hospital canteen - there's a decent choice of food available at excellent prices.

I have been visiting the hospital about a year ago, accompanying my husband on his appointments, the hospital staffs , Medical Professionals and volunteers all do an exceptionally good job, well done all over.

Transport turns up at 9 for a 10.30 appointment leaving me sat in a waiting room then another 3 hours for transport home so my painkillers wore off , could not by a drink as shop didn't take cash, not terribly warm friendly patient understanding staff,, Generally poor and much inferior in every aspect to St George's. Hated the whole bad experience.
