Was in Birmingham for the day with my wife we had a great day shopping, walking round having drinks. We then said let's get some food somewhere new that we have not been before. So we was looking at different restaurants to eat and we came across gourmet burger kitchen. We came in and got greeted with a smile and great vibes. We got told how things worked and all our questions with answers. We ordered our food and was not disappointed at all. The food was delicious cooked well and nice and hot. Service was so good and very helpful and funny. Atmosphere was quiet but pleasurable. We will come again very soon. Good times all round.

Amazing Amazing Amazing!!!!! One of the best burgers i had in my life. First you can choose to have an extra patty which is a must for someone that loves meat like me and second you can choose how you want it cooked!!!!!!!!!!! GORGEOUS! The interior is very comfy and makes you feel at home. Shout out to Jhonny which made our experience even better, he knew what to recommend for our palates and overall was an amazing service coming from him! Thank you and definitely will be back soon :)

We stumbled across GBK in Brindley Place after work and saw they had 50% off burgers – the perfect excuse to finally try it! From the moment we walked in, the girls working there were absolutely amazing – so welcoming, super helpful with the menu, and honestly the highlight of the whole experience. They made us feel so looked after and excited to come back. The place itself is clean, fun, and chic – such a nice vibe after a long day. The panko burgers were halal (big win!) so we gave them a go, and wow… they were delicious. Now, I’m extremely picky about fries (serious fry lover here), but theirs were perfectly crunchy and full of flavour – honestly some of the best I’ve had. A huge thank you to the lovely girls for turning our tired journey home from work into such a wonderful experience. You’ve officially got new loyal customers!

Great location just off the canal route. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful and I can't fault them. Order needs to be placed via a tablet on your table. I'm not a big fan of this concept but went with it. I found it quite difficult to order what I had seen on the menu as the two didn't appear to match completely, but that could have been down to my use of the app. Another issue I have with the Tablet order and pay system is I have to instantly decide on my level of tip ... Before I have even seen my food or had a complete service. This seems a bit silly to me. Food came and the fries were fabulous. I can't help but be disappointed by the chicken burger and onion rings. Burger was very small for the price and was essentially a piece of fried chicken breast, with some over chewy and crispy areas. Onion rings were hard and too crispy and some of the onion was a bit rough. I had a coke with my meal, the choice of alcoholic drinks was very limited, I think there was only Cruz Campo available (wouldn't swear to this). Overall for a meal which cost me £31.19 including a service charge of 12.5%, other than the excellent fries I would probably prefer a chicken burger from McDonald's or Burger King. This could be just down to personal preference, but I am giving an honest appraisal of my meal and experience here. Again staff were 5 ⭐, but meal and overall experience disappointing.

Food was absolutely gorgeous, burger was fantastic, cooked perfectly to how I ordered. Chips could've been a touch hotter but they were by no means cold. Service was friendly and fast, thoroughly enjoyed it!

The meat on my beef burger was cooked as desired. However, the star of the show was easily the Korean chicken burger! The chicken was so crispy and the sauce full of flavour! The menu offers great variety for both meat and vegie lovers, so everyone can be satisfied! The prices are reasonable based on the quality and the portion. The decor is pleasant and the staff is friendly!

Had a lovely lunch here before visiting the Sea Life Centre. The menu is a little limited but there are decent customisation options. Ordering is by app or going up to the counter. This meant that the service was not great. I tried to catch a waitress to get salt and they didn't even look towards our table for a good few minutes. We got our own in the end. The food was pretty good and we enjoyed it. The only caveat being that the skinny fries are more grated potato than fries but that's on us for ordering them. If you don't mind it being very do it yourself, this is a good restaurant but not a good place if you like to have a more attentive service.

We went to this restaurant on the off chance with no idea what we wanted to eat. We were assisted by Haley who recommended what burgers to have and Fries. She was patient and very attentive and helped us tremendously with no fuss. And we where both impressed with the skinny fries (which was delicious by the way) and the blue cheese burger, (The burger was done to perfection). Haley actually paid attention and surprised me with a little birthday treat with a candle, it made my 60th birthday really special and the service Haley provided was A class. The hot chocolate was also lovely and hot

First time eating at a GBK in ten years, and it was so much better than I previously remembered. Went in at lunchtime on a weekday, it was very quiet so I thought that was an ominous sign, but I was so wrong. Seated at a table right away, told to order via a QR code on the napkin holder and pay in advance. I thought this was nice and convenient. Opted for the Rocket Man burger with an extra patty done medium. I honestly can't think of a burger I've ever had as good as this. Juicy and flavoursome. Not as spicy as I expected, but still incredible. My wife went for the Californian vegan burger. She thought it was ok, nothing special, but this is my review, and I loved what I had! We both enjoyed our sides, especially the onion rings. Definitely won't be leaving it long for another visit.
