   After being sent to the Sevenoaks Urgent Care Centre by the NHS emergency care unit on Friday, 28th November, I was shocked by the appalling attitude of the nurse who first dealt with me. She was extremely rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful — behaviour that has no place in a healthcare setting, especially when patients are already anxious and unwell. Her lack of professionalism made the entire experience far more stressful than it needed to be. The only saving grace was the doctor, who was genuinely helpful, attentive, and professional. His approach was everything the initial interaction was not, and I’m grateful for the care he provided.

   Absolutely awful experience from the staff here tonight. We were advised by a pharmacist to come here. The receptionist was very rude and said "can only one parent and one child be in here" in a very rude tone, before even knowing what the issues was, I was there for both of my children so needed them both seen to and she then started muttering under her breath. The nurse didn't even let us finish giving details for one of my children to the receptionist before she started to talking to us and didn't even ask us to come into the room. She then didn't she even look at my little girls face properly she just glanced over at her then back at us and just discussed the issues stood next to the reception desk telling us its probably not what we think so would need to see a doctor and then told us that we couldn't see a doctor because the doctor was to busy that night so we needed to go to a n e or go back in the morning. Disgusting service service! Get better staff and train them better.

   I’ve been waiting from 15:00 pm until 20:00 pm to be seen by a doctor, which is very disappointing. They really need to value people’s time and consider when patients arrive, rather than making them wait for hours without any clear idea of when they’ll be seen. The lack of time management here is a serious issue, and it completely spoiled my day.

   Don't understand some of these reviews. Arrived today with a damaged hand, place rapidly became busy. All staff were polite, professional & friendly though run off their feet. Special mention goes to Emma who dealt with me with humour and a tired smile. An angel. The problems in the NHS are NOT of the staffs making so please treat them with the respect they deserve

   I would like to express my endless gratitude for the orthopedic surgeon Mr Rose who performed shoulder surgery on me in January 2024, ending more than a decade of chronic pain and poor sleep. I have been able to re- build my strength gradually and I no longer ache when I am working as a dentist. I will never forget how professionally I was treated during the whole process . Thanks so much .

   Experience today: Receptionists and nurses rude and unhelpful and rather waste time arguing or being patronising they don't care about you at all they clockwatching. In the time they argue they could've seen you! I called in advance to get their help and come in pain with hot oil in my eye and they don't care, I arrived 7.36pm. I remphasised I don't have a choice to go anywhere else I don't have money or transport, but of course they don't care or understand all about the money here! When I arrived there was 2 people sitting there. There was one person sitting in the waiting room when I left the place about 7.50pm and someone was being called to be seen too! They refused to help and see me they care about their precious clocks Literally this nurse was sitting there not even doing anything! They wasted more time going on and on about how they weren't gonna see me. They would rather spend the time arguing and waste time than see me than even try and attempt to help me, they weren't even busy interrogated me about why can't someone drive me to a and e and I have to repeatedly tell them and my mum, I don't have any way to go there and then this Kate the receptionist accuses me of being rude when I wasn't I just literally explained to her that "I've already told you I can't get there many times!" She's like can you not be rude to me and I'm like I'm not ! They told me to book in and continued to go on and on how they weren't going to help me! Such a waste of time and money and resources, what's the point in advertising 8pm close when you refuse to see anyone new after 7.36pm!?! It's false advertising and misleading! I told them to feedback this and make it clearer but I doubt they will! Called the emergency services instead and told them about my poor experience how they refused to help me. Eyes are important and precious things but of course they don't care. Back in the day it was more a pleasant experience me and family been going, but now it is not sadly good place to go, been going for over 30yrs.

   Huge thank you to the absolutely wonderful staff at Urgent Care. Went today as had a large splinter lodged under my toenail into the side of my toe. The reception staff were warm and welcoming and did a great job managing the flow of patients coming in. I didn't wait long at all. The two professionals I saw were wonderful. They were so friendly, dealing with the splinter quickly, reassuring me along the way. There was just a lovely atmosphere created by caring and clearly passionate staff. Thank you!
