This place was so much better then I expected. We had no wait to get in. We managed to catch the shark show which was very informative and kept everyone gripped. I would definitely go again. Great for children of all ages. There is also a playground however the rain stopped us making use of it. The cafe seemed to have a good selection and plenty of seating. Most things are accessible with a pram. Fab.

Took my mum for her birthday, although she's in a wheelchair everything was pretty much accessible, it was fabulous and very informative, probably best NOT to go during half term though if you don't like crowds

Blue Planet Aquarium is a brilliant place to visit and a great way to spend a few hours, whether you’re going as a family or just looking for something fun and educational to do. It’s an excellent learning experience for children, with plenty to see, do, and discover throughout the visit. There are talks and animal feedings scheduled at different times during the day, which make the experience even more engaging. I’d highly recommend catching the octopus talk and feeding, as well as the shark talk, where divers actually go into the tank to demonstrate what they do - it’s amazing to watch! The aquarium is well laid out, with lots of fascinating marine life and interactive displays. Overall, Blue Planet is a fun, educational, and memorable day out

Kids loved it! We found the outdoors trail path and play area was a nice way to fill some time at the end, as it doesn't take too long to walk around the aquarium. The shark talk was interesting, but some was hard to hear as kids were screaming.

A great way to spend a couple of hours, You're able to walk around as many times as you like. Parking booked online at the same time as tickets so wasnt an issue on the day. Staff pleasant and happy to answer any questions. Shame the tunnel wasn't turned on - that was the only disappointment. But for a first time visit we really enjoyed it!

A dreamy marine utopia beautifully showcasing the deep oceanic wonders of the world What's not to love! Still open after decades of attraction Blue Planet Aquarium has stood the test of time never failing to bewilder visitors with breathtaking sights. I chose to visit again with friends after clinging to novel memories from my childhood of this aquarium and it has maintained its charm perfectly. From common freshwater fish, to small tropical rainbows, colourful frogs, deep sea wonders and the true majesties of the ocean Blue Planet Aquarium provides and excellent up close and personal look at some of the most wonderful creatures this world has to offer. As an animal enthusiast Blue Planet Aquarium offers beautifully healthy displays of well kept specimen with numerous gorgeous viewing angles, all the kept animals are well engaged and seem very happy, naturally curious of seeing their visitors as much as they are desired to be seen! The area is a vast expanse with exhibits around you at all times from fun facts to little critters a tour around the Aquarium will never cease to have a window into a world of wonder. Blue Planet Aquariums crowning jewel are the beautiful shark tunnels which to put simply is the most heavenly experience an aquarium could possibly offer. A beautiful dream come true stretch of tunnels to slowly meander through while 100s of sea creatures including large friendly stingrays and beautiful sharks kindly swim by with excellent views, I could write about the shark tunnels forever as they are a truly magical timeless area. I cannot express enough how beautiful Blue Planet Aquarium is, with ample parking, a lovely outside area for kids and a great diner and gift shop its a must visit within the Liverpool/Chester district and a highly recommended pop in if you're visiting the Cheshire Oaks. If not for anything else, go for the shark tunnels. Pictures do not do it justice, its an underwater heaven and the sights to behold are simply unforgettable. A fantastic place for kids, parents, elderly and animal lovers alike with plenty of shows and educational experiences to boot! To be able to get so up close and personal with such beautiful deep sea life is simply remarkable.

The aquarium is quite big with loads of species of fishes. The underwater safari is my favourite part of the aquarium. There is a fast food restaurant on the ground floor with a view of the aquarium to the right. On the day we went, the toilet was not clean and was really messy, not sure if this was a one off as it’s expected to be cleaned regularly as loads of children visit the facility.

Fantastic place. Took my 14 year old step son and my 7 month old. Both enjoyed it a lot. Plenty to see, takes about 2 hours to look around leisurely but there's a nice nature park to walk round and a good cafeteria of you wanted to stay longer. The shark tunnels are brilliant. The lift wasn't working when we went but the staff were so helpful and made an alternative lift available to all customers. There's lots of parking available, we got the bus and it was only a short easy walk from Cheshire Oaks. Would definitely recommend for a family day out and we will be going again.

Friendly staff and an easy route round. Lots of different animals to see and read about and an incredible, long underwater tunnel to get up close with all the sharks and rays. They also have crocodiles and pelicans which I haven't seen in an aquarium before so that was really interesting! They hold great talks and feeds throughout the day in all parts. Definitely worth a visit
