Very rude receptionists and a very rushed team of doctors. I was prescribed two long-term medications, but I had a reaction, so I booked an appointment. The phone appointment was an hour late (happens), and the doctor didn’t seem to know anything about what I had previously shared or the reports I had attached. After about ten minutes, the doctor told me to temporarily stop my medication, take an antihistamine, and arrange a follow-up for next week to discuss an allergy test and how to safely restart the medication, since I’m not supposed to take breaks. When I tried to arrange the follow-up, the receptionist told me the doctor hadn’t written anything in the notes about needing one. (Waiting for an appointment that began an hour late, only to find out the doctor hadn’t reviewed my attachments, and then being told this, didn’t give me the best impression.) She then continued by reading out which medications I’d been prescribed—without me asking—and said the earliest appointment was in two weeks. When I mentioned the risk of withdrawal, she repeated that I could take the appointment in two weeks or keep trying to call in the mornings. When I said I would try calling in the morning, she replied, “Ah, okay, so you don’t want an appointment. Anything else we can help with?” I said, “You haven’t helped me. I can book an appointment you offered by myself but I was told to book specifically next week. Now, I’ll have to keep calling just to get something I was told I needed.” She responded, “Okay, thanks, bye.” A perfect example of how to flustrate patients—without even trying. I need to call them? Fine! But everything else?! Why would you do that?!

I am outraged by the completely unacceptable way my daughter’s vaccination was handled. The nurse, Joanne Querido, failed to administer the injection properly, causing my child unnecessary pain and distress. This is not a “simple mistake” — it is gross incompetence. It is shocking and frankly disgraceful that someone who is supposed to be a trained healthcare professional cannot perform such a basic medical procedure correctly. Joanne Querido’s careless and unprofessional behaviour is dangerous and absolutely intolerable. I demand that this issue be taken seriously and that immediate action is taken to ensure that no other child is put at risk by such negligence. Your standards clearly need urgent and serious improvement.

I had an extremely unacceptable experience at this GP surgery during my baby’s vaccination appointment. The nurse ( Joanna Querido) who administered the vaccines was clearly careless and unprofessional. Part of the injected vaccine ended up outside my baby’s leg, and most of the oral vaccine was spilled rather than given properly — only a tiny amount actually reached my baby’s mouth. This is absolutely unacceptable when dealing with infant vaccinations. What made the situation even worse was the nurse’s attitude. She was rushing through the entire appointment, showed no patience, and didn’t allow any time for my baby to calm down. Instead, she hurried me out of the room as if we were an inconvenience. The lack of care, attention, and basic professionalism was shocking. I am now left seriously concerned about whether my baby received the necessary immunisation correctly. This level of service is far below what any parent should have to deal with, especially in a healthcare setting. I strongly urge the management to address this issue immediately.

13.11.2025 Blonde hair with correction glasses Age: Mid 50/ 50+ The receptionist is behaving strangely, making faces during conversations and making the person asking the question feel like she's treating them as uneducated and stupid because they weren't born in the UK, instead of answering the question. After speaking with her, she started smiling at others and acting like she's "nice and polite," even though she wasn't before, and the reality is different. During phone calls, she shouts over the caller and hangs up, ignoring questions. Very rude behavior. It seems she doesn't like her job and takes her frustration out on others.

If I could give this practice a 0, I would. It takes almost three weeks to get an appointment, forcing patients like myself to go private just to access healthcare when it’s actually needed. The approach feels rushed - they seem far too quick to prescribe antidepressants and other medications, even when it’s clearly documented on records that they should not be prescribed. Requests for further investigations or tests to identify the real issue are repeatedly refused, leaving patients without answers or proper care. This is not what a GP service should be.

I am a ‘mature’ member of the community so have many years experience of GP’s for myself and family ... in 4 years I cannot fault Dr Sharma and the Admin/reception staff - they are everything you can wish for from your GP practice.

Great GP practice with professional doctors and helpful receptionists. They always find a slot for my baby, even during the most busy seasons, with a short notice. I would like to say thank you to Dr. Donner, Dr. Ramchandani and Dr Sharma for doing a great job, patiently answering lots of my questions, explaining everything to me in a very clear manner and being kind and friendly, despite of enormous pressure they have to deal with on a daily basis. They really love kids and care about them. Overall, all of the staff is great and helpful. Thank you!

Iv recently changed to this GP surgery from Central Uxbridge down the road. I must say the waiting time on the phone and getting an appointment is much better compared to my previous surgery where I had to wait 45+ mins to get hold of reception. The receptionists were also very friendly when I rang and came in for my appointment. However, Im really upset with my consultation with Dr Madock. I asked her a question about a condition I have and she said to me word for word “I dont know you just have to look it up”. I shouldnt have to google my symptoms and find management treatments on my own. Everyone knows google is not the place to go! I asked her about a medicine to treat my symptoms which I know many people with my condition benefit from. She told me its not effective at treating symptoms for the condition but I SAW ON THE NHS PAGE THAT IT IS AN EFFECTIVE MEDICINE for my condition management. I requested a blood test to further look into my cause of my condition and was refused. I feel as thought my concerns were disregarded and she did not offer me any advice or support. I cant speak on any other doctors at this surgery as I havnt seen them but so far I am disappointed

During covid and in the period post covid the Belmont Medical Centre were very efficient from my point of view. I was able to book telephone appointments and, when they were able, they saw my face-to-face when they couldn't sort the problem over the phone. They have also been happy to refer me to external services when they have reached end of their remit.

I don’t know why this GP has not got 5 * reviews, probably because of they couldn’t help much because of pandemic or patients has misjudged them. I just joined this GP a year ago as I moved in Uxbridge. Receptionist are very friendly and helpful. Over the time me and my wife spoke with receptionist and GP so many times regarding us and our little 6 months old son. The service we have received so far is beyond our expectations. They always ready to help as much as they can from their side. Very happy with all staffs, services and care. I saw Dr Shaikh last time and spoke with Dr Garsin last. And of course Dr Sharma is very very good. And want to say Thank You to all the team.
