   I was diagnosed with solar urticaria a few months ago. Apparently this is extremely rare and traditional medicine is unable to do much to help other than taking antihistamines. I have been taking the equivalent of 36 x 1-a-day antihistamines each day and my allergy still flared up. I was told I had it for life. This meant that I have been unable to have a normal life for about the last 8 years and it has been getting progressively worse. I get an extreme rash, itching and my skin goes bright red within 2 minutes of exposure to the sun, even through windows and clouds. Not much fun. So I thought I would try accupuncture. I found Yizhen, who runs the Health Clinic of Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine in Hillingdon. Having read reviews and her website, I knew Yizhen was the best chance I had. 2 months and 4 sessions later my allergy has gone completely. At this stage, I cannot dare to believe that it has gone forever. For my mental well being, I have to accept that it may come back, but only time will tell. I have now been allergy free for just over 2 weeks. For now, I will take each day without this allergy as a bonus and enjoy every moment of my hobbies and activities outdoors. To say this has been life changing is an understatement. Yizhen has been professional, supportive, caring and determined to help me since the first time I met her. I cannot thank her enough. If I ever have a problem, Yizhen will be the first person I contact, to see if she can help. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Yizhen.

   Yizehn is a professional doctor who knows her stuff. She has helped me getting pregnant twice: first time after 10 years if infertility and second time arround she did her best and gave me supplements.    I first met Yizhen when I was pregnant, I suffered enormously with back pain and within a few sessions she released so much tension, it truly helped me for the rest of my pregnancy. Since then, I always go back to her when I feel some discomfort. Yizhen is an amazing doctor, professional, and human being... I keep telling her she should write a book... I hope she does!    I received acupuncture / herbal treatment from Yizhen for fertility issues, and in my experience she is an excellent therapist who is very professional, dedicated, compassionate and very warm yet practical and down to earth. It had been a difficult few years for me since I had experienced a number of miscarriages and I was giving up hope of ever falling pregnan and maintaining the pregnancy to term. It was yizhen who , as well as treating me, became a friend to me who reassured me at times of anxiety throughout my pregnancy. She is extremely caring and gives her best to her patients. I would have no hesitation in recommending Yizhen to people who are considering having acupuncture.
