Despite the NHS having massive backlogs, taking 3 months plus to get an outpatients appointment via GP, the service you receive in person at this hospital is polite and efficient.

This is a fantastic service. Amy was incredibly helpful and knowledgable. The tram saw me very quickly. Thank you Amy and team, and thank you NHS!

Update: After being turned away by careless Dr and rude manager from the Walk in Center I returned to my GP to await a scan for my wrist. Had endured another week of pain just so it turns out that my ulnar bone is fractured, and an experienced nurse and doctor have turned me away telling me it ‘would have been healed by now’. Now I’m supposed to return back to the same hospital for treatment. Disheartened. I will continue with raising a formal complaint due to negligence and lack of care. Previews review a week ago: Suffered an injury 6-7 weeks ago. Whilst the injury is not fresh I lately been in unbearable pain and not been able to use my wrist at all. I have been checked in by a very warm and welcome lady at reception. The wait was very short and overall good service until I got to see the Doctor. She was not empathetic at all and said it’s an old injury that she can’t check. This whole time I’m explaining to her it could be a fracture, she still refused, as that would have ‘healed’ already. My wrist still swells up, bruises sometimes and I’m unsafe to use it. She sent me to see my GP, insinuating that if I have been suffering with pain for past 6 weeks, I can wait few more weeks till my GP will refer you. I had no choice but to leave. I have called to leave a review, but the ‘Manager’ was extremely rude. At first tried to explain why they couldn’t help my situation but then when I mentioned that I wish to raise a complaint, she had the cheek to say that ‘Well, your complaint will come back to me anyway and I will say the same again’. Great customer service. You must be proud to be in a Customer Service manager role. I am sure someone must over-look this facility and the customer treatment provided by employees. Since walking through the doors you can see stickers everywhere to ‘Respect our staff, Respect our doctors’ - But how about respect patients in return? Asking me to go and complain yet assuring me you’ll nip it in the bud as my complaint will “come back to you” it’s rude, it’s poor! No sympathy from staff, do not care about your pain, just there to do a boring job, not genuinely show care for patients. Wrong career.

Easy to find and get to and there's a small car park just outside the Outpatients building (I've never had issues with finding a space when visiting the walk-in centre). It can get very busy and you can easily end up waiting over 3 hours when the whole waiting area is full. Last time I went I got there just after 10:30AM and it was quiet. I ended up waiting an hour to see a nurse, only 3 people ahead of me and from check in to check out, I was there for a total of 2 hours. They do try their best and I appreciate all the work that they do for us. It does sometimes feel understaffed but that's no fault of the staff. It gets very uncomfortable when there's annoyed and frustrated people with the receptionist and talking loudly complaining.

Went to Ashford walk in centre on Thursday last week with a knee injury.I was wheeled over to X-ray after only 10 minutes and back in the walk in centre within 30 minutes. Toby, nurse practitioner, was very understanding and quick to diagnose the problem and refer to orthopaedics. Orthopaedics called me the same afternoon with an appointment set up for the following week. Can’t fault the treatment or the staff. Excellent service.

Cannot fault the staff here at all! Went in today as I had surgery 3 weeks ago and I wasn't sure if part of the incision had become infected, but my GP couldn't see me today. Was in and out within an hour- thankfully not infected, but the nurse I saw was understanding about me getting it looked at just to be sure. Was talked through why it's acting up, how to look after it and sent on my way. No complaints at all!

Imagine going to a walkin center and seeing this notice, which basically says "due to very limited staff, adverse weather conditions and sickness we are unable to see any patients...if you still would like to be seen there will be signifolicant delays" I came here at 11:45 am, now its 16:53 pm and still waiting. Worst experience, words can't explain how much let down and disappointed i feel.

Absolutely fantastic! I arrived there this morning at 0945am, I was booked in by the very friendly and helpful receptionists! At around 1025am, I was seen by a lovely and friendly Doctor called Charlotte! I received such a fantastic service from Charlotte and all of the team there! I honestly couldn’t fault them at all! I was back in my car at 1045am! Amazing! Highly recommend Ashford Walk-in!
