   The AMEs and medical staff at Heathrow Medical Services were exceptionally kind, professional, and clearly dedicated to their work. Unfortunately, my experience with parts of the administrative team was noticeably different. After one of my test results came back narrowly below the required threshold, I remained polite and requested - based on what the nurse had advised - that I be allowed a repeat of the spirometry test. Instead of receiving guidance or the opportunity to speak with the AME for clarification, I was repeatedly dismissed and told to “put it in writing,” without any attempt to explain my options or even acknowledge the request. By this point, the £110 fee had already been processed, and it became clear that the previously mentioned retest was not going to happen. Not everyone can afford to spend close to £1,000 on an initial Class 1 medical, and it is disheartening when the process feels more focused on revenue than on supporting candidates through genuinely minor, correctable issues. Ultimately, after a specialist referral, I was told the borderline result was due to incorrect technique- exactly the type of situation a simple repeat test would have resolved on the day.

   Had my initial CAA UK class 1 medical with heathrow medical services. The experience was so easy. I felt nervous about my initial, but everyone at HMS made me feel really relaxed and comfortable. The whole process was very efficient and carried out very professionally. I didn’t get my medical on the day, because I had sustained a broken bone when I was 8-9 years old. I didn’t state it on my Cellma record, but told Dr Ojha, incase it was an issue that I hadn’t declared it. Turns out it was, and I needed my discharge letter. I emailed my discharge letter to HMS, and within 24 hours of doing so, I revived my class 1 medical Overall, I would highly recommend anyone to heathrow medicals requiring their services.

   This place is absolutely unprofessional I was given an appointment for 10am on a Saturday I took the appointment and I left at 8am. Two Separate Trains and one specific bus takes 1 hour and 50 min. I arrive at the bus stop to get there 9:40am the bus wait was 20 min so I was going v to be late called the number to the office straight to voicemail saying they are closed. So I tried calling twice and waited for the bus. Got there 10:30am was met with sorry you are late you can’t be seen. I wasn’t that mad that I couldn’t be seen, I was mad at the fact that they were open that they send their phone lines directly to voicemail stating they are closed it’s not an easy place to get to and all that had to happen was someone answer the phone and being like sorry if you aren’t here on time you can’t be seen, cause I would saved the last 50 min of the journey and went home and rescheduled. So because of that I would give zero stars but I can’t.

   I had my medical today class 1 and it was quite good process. At first I was nervous but then staff made me comfortable, jesse and my AME doctor John was so nice. He treated me with respect and he made all the process very quick and easygoing . Overall would recommend to do your first medical here .

   Attended for a routine medical. Communication was fast and easy to book appointment. Appointment itself all very efficient, staff all friendly and answered any questions I had. Certificate was issued very quickly after the appointment. Cannot fault the service received.
