Nice and clean playground. Plenty of stuff to do for kids. After play you can go for a walk around the lake and grab a drink or something to eat in the lake caffee. :)

I've been here a few times and noticed there's no toilets in the park. I know there are toilets in the cafe when it's open but I'm sure it's customers only. For a park of it's size it needs at least two portable toilets. After a long drive some of us need the toilet on arrival and I don't fancy receiving a fine for going in the trees.

This was a first time visit to Taylor Park for me despite having driven past there hundreds of times. I just didn't know it was there. The park is set back from the main road at the back of some large houses. Once through the gates, there is a short driveway to two car parks with a good amount of spaces. A short walk later, you are at the lakeside walk. At the moment, there are hundreds of birds around the sides of the lake. I would advise you to go into the Boat House Cafe as well. The staff are very friendly and the food was lovely. I will certainly be going back there again for a toastie and a coffee.

The park is beautiful and it has various entrances. There are also parking areas located in different parts of the park. There are various wildlife in the area, including a turtle in the lake. This is the only park I have seen a turtle in nature, around the northwest. The park also has various children play area which is really cool. I saw few people fishing, so I guess itβs allowed? Its idea for picnic, walking and playing for children

The blue lake is absolutely gorgeous and lovely to walk around. Itβs not every day you see an actual blue lake! The childrenβs parks (2 of them) are well equipped for the children to enjoy, plus thereβs an outdoor gym for all ages. Thereβs also a big field behind the lake for a sit down field picnic, or gymnastics session if you fancy it like we did (no bones broken). There are also lots of baby ducklings and cygnets if you visit in the right months (April/May). AND, LOTS of squirrels. Which weβve fed nuts to in the past - super cute! Overall, highly recommend for the family on a sunny day & winter walks! (Ice cream van there year round. I believe there is a cafΓ© which Iβve heard good things of, but Iβve never been in).

Taylor Park isn't what it was like when I was a child but still a nice place to go walking my dog, the big field is a meeting point for dog walkers

First time back for many years, still a wonderful park for families young and old. It is looking very tired and in need of some T L C but still a tremendous facility.

Lovely park with 2 kids play areas, large field, large lake, cafe, and even what used to be a massive paddling pool that small children now ride they're bikes/scooters/skateboards in. Lovely in the summer with all the flowers too.

Fantastic spot to take a walk. Taylor perfect for dogs as there are lots of places to go and rummage and plenty of space to run and play. Several play areas for younger children and a cafe for refreshments. The park was very tidy with bins a plenty to dispose of your rubbish.

Absolutely Fantastic Views And A Lovely Walkβ¦ Although The Lake Next To The Main One Was Infected With Blue-Green Algae Which Is Unfortunate Since I Had A Childhood Fishing Here But Aside From That It Was Beautifulβ¦
