   I have been under the care of The London Weight Clinic/Dr Ahmed Ahmed's team after having gastric balloon insertion/removal and Mounjaro. I've always found the team easy to get hold of and especially Dr Ahmed's PA Kitti to be professional, knowledgeable and polite. The care provided has always been high quality. I was extremely sick in the days after the Orbera balloon insertion which can happen with gastric balloons and the care provided by Dr Ahmed again was high quality. The London Weight Clinic have a couple of nutritionists they use and I found the one I used to be very unprofessional, negative and I lodged a complaint against her to the team. My quality of life has improved significantly with the weight loss I experienced with both the balloon and Mounjaro - it's amazing to see the results in action. I keep catching myself in the mirror and being blown away by the changes. I'm grateful to Dr Ahmed, Dr Cousins and Kitti for everything it really has changed my life.

   I have had a great experience with this clinic. I have recommended my relatives to Mr Ahmed for treatment. They have had a great experience with all members of the the team and they are very happy with the outcome. I highly recommend this clinic to everybody.

   I don't think I would recommend this clinic given the experience I had: Firstly, I found it extremely difficult to get in touch with their team when I had queries, which was extremely frustrating. Secondly, after arranging the procedure, I was sent a letter and told to take medication which was not discussed or agreed upon in the first consultation. When I asked the admin team to confirm if this was correct, I was told it was. However, on the day of the procedure, Dr. Ahmed informed me that this was incorrect but would be able get a refund for medications I bought which should have been provided in the procedure package. Thirdly, the medications I was prescribed I was unable to collect from the clinic, and I had to get a prescription, resulting in an extra payment that I was told was included in the original price. Dr. Ahmed assured me that I would be refunded if I sent over the receipt. Despite several emails and multiple attachments of these receipts, I have still not received any follow-up or refund 9 months later. Fourthly, the experience I had with the nutritionist was fantastic, but my appointment was just one day before the procedure, which made me extremely anxious as I didn't know what I needed to feel prepared. Overall, I would not recommend this clinic given the experience I have had. I would only give it half a star due to the fantastic care and support I received from the nutritionist( who solely would receive a 5 star rating from me).

   Had my gastric sleve 3 weeks ago I couldn't be happier with my treatment and care dr ali is a lovely caring doctor he is just a call away nothing is to much trouble. The hospital room was lovely and the staff was very good.glad I chose dr ali and would highly recommend. 6 months later and I have lost 7 and a half stone and gone down 5 dress sizes and am still losing

   I have been a patient of Mr Ahmed in the capacity of Bariatric surgery and General surgery both of which he specialises in. As you can imagine it's always nerve wracking to make that decision of the right surgeon/specialist for you and your needs, therefore I did plenty of research before coming across Mr Ahmed. Although many can be academically suitable, it is important for me to feel comfortable and confident with the specialist I am putting all my trust in. I am so pleased to say my experiences with Mr Ahmed have portrayed all of the above, he is extremely commited to his patients aswell as the skills and service he offers. His vast knowledge and passion for his work is evident when speaking to him. He is professional, efficient, thorough yet down to earth and reassuring. I couldn't have been happier with my decision to have both my procedures with him. Both my procedures were done within days of my initial consultation, diagnostic tests were actually done on the same day and his response to email queries is just fantastic both pre and post operatively. My incisions from 2 surgeries that he has performed are practically non existent, the finish of the incisions were done so well and they healed so much better than any other incision I've previously had, and I've had a couple that even after more than 8 years are bulging, untidy and very visible. His suturing alone is artistry, which is not a big deal for most but unfortunately for me, scaring on my body tends to keloid and raise, which thankfully have not been the case with these procedures. I would highly recommend Mr Ahmed as a consultant surgeon to anyone in need of his specialities. I have also recommended him to a few of my friends who have equally been extremely happy with their treatment and outcomes.
