   Fundamentally Flawed: This GP surgery is a nightmare. Emails go unanswered, appointments take 10 days to secure, and when you finally get seen the consultation feels rushed. The booking system is chaotic even if you call at 8am, by the time they answer there are no slots left, and routine appointments take two weeks. The AskFirst app is just as bad, with endless confusing questions that only redirect you back to the surgery, 111, or emergency. The overall level of support is very low, and staff are often rude and dismissive. Overall, the service is unreliable and discouraging

   Very unhappy with the system and service. Called to book appt for some current issues I have. They said they don't have any appt available for the day. Even if I called at sharp 8 am. They suggested to book a routine check up after 2 weeks! If I have the issue now what the point of appt after 2 weeks! This is happened twice in a raw. They also ask to call 111. If I want to call 111, I could do it straight way. Shouldn't try for a GP appt. Also this is 31st October, 2025. I am dropping another review as it doesn't allow me to add a new one. I have a medical exemption certificate currently, but the GP is asking me to buy my medicines over the counter. They just want us give hassle and make things complicated for us. I was paying for the prescription all the time. If I get the opportunity for a time being to get a free medications why would I pay!?

   I had an appointment with physiotherapist this guy is absolutely amazing, helping me a lot. He is really curious about my symptoms and tries to understand everything, a small thing about my situation trying to do best what he can. Really, I really recommend it.

   Outrageous reception and GP itself. It's not enough you can BARELY get an appointment and when you do you feel like you won the lottery. But anyway, I went in the emergency and the hospital has sent letter to the GP about getting an MRI done, they were supposed to do the referral and when I've asked about it they have said "the GP doesn't do MRI referrals and it's USELESS to get an appointment because the doctor would tell me the same thing." Was going back and forth with the hospital telling me they can book it, came with the paperwork and everything to argue there because I was in pain and I needed physiotherapy and for that referral to be made so I can obviously get started with the procedure and see what's going on with my health. They were "fully booked until 28th of September". After the whole argument with the manager that had attitude and the reception finally got the referral and an appointment the same day with the physiotherapist. I don't have any complaints about the physiotherapist, very professional, really explained everything through and I've finally felt heard. Thank you for that. And about the GP? If you're reading this honestly find something better.

   I have always attended Greenside surgery in the past and have been apprehensive about Leonard Rd surgery. However, I was surprised at the improvements made and the new building. My stitches were removed quickly and painlessly by the nurse Helen. Everyone was polite and welcoming. Compared to Greenside which is quite small, Leonard Rd seems big enough to meet the community's needs. The only downside is that the waiting room is quite small

   I went for some blood tests and my appointment was on time. I did not have to wait at all. The nurse was very friendly and everything went smoothly. I however wish that the doctors had the same welcoming feeling.
