This is a complete horror. My nail fell out, there was a lot of pain and blood. I waited for an appointment all night from 9 pm to 7 am, and knowing that the doctors were busy, I sat calmly and waited for them to call me. When they finally called me, the doctor said that 24 hours had passed since I broke my nail and they could not do anything, to which I said that I had spent 10 of them here and it was simply unfair. The doctor examined my finger, said that everything was fine, wrapped it with tape and told me to take a painkiller. In a trembling voice, I began to say that my finger was hurting non-stop, the pain was not decreasing, and it was pulsating and I was afraid that I had brought in an infection or that it could get there and asked him to remove my nail and treat everything. To which the doctor began to raise his voice at me, said that until the finger became infected, they would not do anything. To my question, “So you will not do anything to prevent the infection?” he answered, “Yes.” A day passed, pus started to flow from under the nail, the finger turned red halfway, and the pain increased. I am simply shocked by the blatant incompetence of doctors and their disregard for human health

I went to the children’s urgent care with my baby boy (11 weeks old) as I was told to by the 111 operator due to him seemingly having an infection in his finger and high temperature. The nurse who initially saw us was rude and uncaring towards my son. She took his blood pressure, holding his wrist tightly, to the point where he began to cry, and weighed him and didn’t even look at his hand until we were walking out of the door to which she grabbed it rather aggressively whilst he was crying and said “there’s nothing wrong with him”! His hand was red due to his crying as we got very distressed so it was hard to see. He did, however, have an infection as we discovered when an actual doctor saw him (he was lovely and extremely helpful). I witnessed other nurses interacting with the children around us and they seemed lovely, it’s a shame about her.

My daughter came in with a big gash on her leg from an accident. The care she got from the Paramedics, to X-ray, to the last Nurse who tended her, was absolutely brilliant. It was a scary time, yet everyone of those health carers were on the ball, helpful, kind, gentle, and human. All whilst working with equipment that needs to be renewed. Its hard to believe they can, and do just get on with it. It takes a very special person to care like that, and eachone we came across were this. We can't thank them enough for all they did and do. Thank you so much. M. McNamara.

Amazing dedicated staff. Clean, hygienic and well organised at A&E. Seen and treated within four hours, including two trips to x-ray and being seen by a specialist. My heroes ❤️

A well deserved 0 star to the rude. staffs of this horrible hospital. Today, we have been rushed to lewisham hospital by a paramedic team as my 16 year old daughter experienced a chest pain, nausea, numbness as well as a high blood pressure of 165/72. The two lovely paramedics made a very good observation at home and all the tests indicated that she needs to be taken to the hospital. Then at the urgent care a nurse called Harni called us in. She started to do a little observation recklessly without paying any attention to the observation of paramedic report. She called the blood pressure reading of 165/72 normal and acted like she doesn’t care about patients health. Then i showed her the report that i got from the ambulance team that they said its for us to keep it then the nurse Harni snatched it off my hand and she demanded to go and sit outside for 6 to 7 hours. What an unprofessional behaviour! Then she called her man colleague and they locked me and my daughter in a consultation room and the nurse started to push me and scratch me in front of my daughter. She refused to give the report back to us and kicked us out of the hospital. This nurse must me fired and be an example for the rest of other lewisham staffs. I called the police and i will press charge on this nurse for sure!

Arrived at 8pm with an inflamed foot. Unable to sleep for 3 nights due to pain. Triaged within the hour. But then waited for blood test results. Then had a Ct scan again waited hours for results. Now down to X-ray again waited hours for results. A Dr was eventually called in from A&E and declared it was soft tissue damage and was sent home with no pain management and no further care. Left at 5.30am still in agony. Wont be going back to this hospital ever again
