I had a telephone appointment today with Dr Andrew. And the only reason why I have given a five star review is because of Doctor Andrew, he is kind , empathetic and listens to you as the patient. I think nowadays there aren't many Doctors who actually listen or care, when someone becomes a Doctor alot of the time people forget being a Doctor is about helping someone. And every patient has different needs and circumstances . Doctor Andrew is a real credit to the Claremont Clinic Team, there should be more Doctors like him - Jaimini.
Visited this clinic today. Came earlier than my appointment time. Wasn’t welcomed in by any member of staff. As soon as I had walked in a woman asked me am I just drinking water now or have I been drinking all day. She then told me to sit down. Came to get me a minute later. Took me to the room for my scan. The clinician, a male was sat there. He didn’t welcome me. Tell me his name nor did he ask me any questions or make me feel comfortable. he then put the gel on my belly and said my bladder is not full enough then walked away. The assistant in the room then said I will get a text message to reschedule. I was told to wipe the gel off my belly myself. The clinician nor the assistant said goodbye or showed any sort of communication. I wasn’t even told to do any preparation beforehand. so for them to assume people know to drink water or how much water it’s ridiculous. Any time they did speak to me it was like they were unbothered and had so much attitude. I come from a professional background that is based around communication skills and people skills. I saw none at this clinic. They could have simply told me to drink more water and wait till my designated appointment time but wasn’t offered that at all. I have never experienced such turn away and such bad people skills in my life. I will not be recommending this clinic nor would I myself visit again. I have been to ultrasounds before and was treated much better. Save your time all. Please don’t visit
Claremont Clinic has such a welcoming atmosphere. Manager Suki was so approachable and kind, and Dr. Andrew was thorough and genuinely caring.
I had an appointment with the doctor who was attentive to my concerns there were know issues with the doctor. At the end of the telephone call I had forgotten to speak about two other things to the doctor. I Spoke to the receptionist over the phone I explained what had happened and she was rude saying why did you not tell the doctor now firstly if she was listening to me she would of known what I had said to here which was II had forgotten to tell the doctor. I then asked for her name she said G…. I wont put the full name of the receptionist on the review . I explained again using her name her voice raised up to me saying if I was going to be rude to her she will put the phone down on me I could not believe this I was quite taken back and explained to the receptionist that I was not being rude I was just saying her name as I was explaining to her again. She then said it was the way that I saiid it so I said her name again and said how is that being rude and explained about my breathing difficulties this woman should not be allowed to be on the other end of the telephone when you are dealing with sick people you should have a high level of empathy , compassion listening and communication skills. This receptionist unfortunately has non of this qualities. She is not an asset to the clinic and will only give Claremont a bad name . I gave one star not for the clinic but for the unprofessional performance of that one particular receptionist.
Shocking. Third world. Sent away to wait in an A and E for 10hours and to travel back and forth to get there when walking is difficult when just out of hospital for asking if a doctor or nurse could see me for a minor matter that needed looking at. As apparently no spaces for a whole week!!!!
I had such a horrifying experience with a receptionist. Myself and my son had an ambulance called out because we just couldn’t get an appointment at the surgery. I mention that the length of times waiting for an appointment was ridiculous and is causing people to rely on other services when their condition worsens due to not getting an appointment. She told me that I was being rude and disrespectful to staff and if I continue she will put the phone down on me. Bear in mind I’m calling again for the same reason as previous. I am aloud to complain and I’m aloud to have an opinion as long as I’m not shouting or being abusive I’m allowed to state an opinion as I’m frustrated at what happened to my little boy. Instead of showing compassion even if I was being sarcastic she was very defensive and non caring.definitely they are getting a lot of complaints just like most surgery’s i guess but her threatening to put the phone down was totally unacceptable.
Gisa is a very rude receptionist. Cuts off sentences, eager to end call and has very little interpersonal skills. Needs retraining.
Don't bother! Rude receptionist! The one everyone complains about! Yet still working, no appointments, just useless! Been at this surgery since birth 36 years as are my children and am currently looking to change, they have taken on too many patients to safely care for you, no appointments when needed, lack of communication between Drs and reception staff, absolutely shame, it's lost its community Dr vibe once upon a time you were a person, now just a number! Honestly look elsewhere. Postnatal check up is a phone call, not a actual check up! Yet was told it was an appointment! How worrying so many women with postnatal difficulties may go without support!
