   I came here a few weeks ago after suffering with bad pain in my lower back/hips/glutes area (I wasn't sure where). I am used to having massages in a spa so this was a very different experience. However, the Dr quickly identified that my pain was in my glutes. He gave me an acupuncture session followed by Chinese massage. I was perhaps a bit cynical but I have had no pain in that area since, it works! I was very sore the next day as the massage is very firm. But after that the pain was gone. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

   I have been a regular patient for number of years. Every one of my visits has been an experience of being taking care of and my neck and shoulder injuries have much improved. Dr Quilonh Xue is a true healer, his presence and healing hands have helped me a great deal with chronic neck pain and shoulder injury. I recommend him highly.

   I have been visiting the practice for almost 5 weeks for two reasons. For menopause symptoms and a frozen shoulder. The tea I have been taking did a wonders for me helped me tremendously with hot flashes, low energy, memory loss, I am thankfully back to my old self! The acupuncture and the massage for the stiff / frozen shoulder has been wonderful even at times after the treatment a little painful. I would confidently recommend this clinic , having a very knowledgeable doctors and the most helpful manager Lishia that she always does the extra mile!

   I came this place 3 months ago and the receptionist lady lixia was very helpful. Dr quilong xue accessed me n then suggested accupuncture sessions and massage for my lower back pain and its been 3 months since I am getting these sessions and they have been really helpful in relieving my back pain. I highly recommend this place for any sort of neck or back pain.

   The cupping treatment is the worst I've ever had from any establishment ever! (I've had cupping done all over the UK). She didn't ask where my aches, pains, injuries were she just plopped them on and walked out (scuttled off like a thief in the night to be more precise). It was was literally like 'he's paid already let's throw on cups for about 10 minutes then we can get the next customers in' absolutely shocking. I had to ask her politely to come back 4 times so that she could place the cups somewhere that would make a difference. Take my word for it, if you go to the Chingford branch for cupping you will be doing yourself a massive disservice. The owner/manager/s that have let the side down.

   Very friendly polite service. I woke up with a horrible pain in my wrist and fore arm and went to the GP twice that week only to be given pain killer... which didn't work. I decided to try Chinese medicine as it had been recommended. Saw the reviews on Google and decided to try here. Amazing! Dr Quilonh Xue gave me a consultation and proposed acupuncture and massage. After 1session the pain stopped and I am going back to make sure it doesn't come back. Nearly a week after my treatment and I can honestly say it works. I have my hand back, and with a 9week old baby I can't afford to be without it.

   I was recommended Chinese medicine and to this specific clinic by a friend who experienced positive outcomes. Being Chinese myself and growing up in a western country, together with studying a PhD in biomedical science, I was accustomed to westernized medical theories, but had little/no knowledge in Chinese medicine. I was skeptical to try for the first time but I am so glad I did! I feel I must share my positive experience and voice out my gratitude. I acquired a serious back injury, leading to chronic back and neck pain, after a sporting accident. I was initially treated at the A&E and later discharged from the hospital after I became stable and healthy enough to leave. However, since the accident I never felt the same, with aching type pains spanning from my neck to my lower back. Frequent visits to the hospital only resulted in an endless prescription of pain medication. There was nothing else the hospital could do for me and I knew this with my medical knowledge. This was when I went to my first Chinese medicine consultation at the Chinese Herbal Medicine and Healthcare Clinic. A move that has honestly changed my life! Upon consultation I was examined and was told how Chinese medicine (including acupuncture) could help me. I had a pleasant in depth conversation about the medical theories involved and was convinced to go ahead for treatment. I started with an acupuncture treatment session followed by a deep tissue back massage. Honestly, after the first day I could notice the difference the treatments were making already! I felt lighter, more relaxed and most importantly less pain than I had felt before! I instantly booked a series of appointments (2 session per week for a month). After 2 months of treatment my back pain had completely disappeared and remained so for over 3 months now. I cant express enough how much this has actually changed my life! Having chronic pain lingering over your head is not how life should be! Since then I have also been back for cupping and reflexology, both of which I would recommend. Overall I would definitely give the double thumbs up. Pleasant polite service, comfortable environment and most importantly it worked for me!
