Dear monet ward Team, I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for everything you’ve done for me during my stay. Being homeless and struggling with my mental health hasn’t been easy, but your kindness made all the difference. You welcomed me with warmth, checked on me every day, helped me with meals, and treated me like a human being when I needed it most. I’ll never forget the lovely names, Elizabeth, Suzan, John, Bash, Michael, Ubon the gentle voices, and the small acts of care that meant so much. They are all did like my sisters and brothers From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for being so wonderful. I truly appreciate you. Warm wishes, Olcay Tuncer

it is really a place for those who have fallen into severe depression, but not for those with mild depression, I am attaching some pictures to inform you well because the opinions will be different

I was on ogura ward for one month. Shocking and truly unbelievable treatment of patients by staff who are verbally very aggressive with no patience or compassion in their approach to patients. Rampant weed crack and alcohol use on ogura ward with the staff turning a blind eye to things.

This place really helped me when I was ill. The nurses were just amazing, they were kind, caring and patient, despite working 13 hour shifts, and often putting up with abuse from unwell patients. For the most part the hospital is clean, modern and safe. There's a lot of natural light and outdoor spaces, and each room is en-suit. There are optional activities throughout the day, and a big screen telly in each ward. The food there is good, compared with most hospitals. It is surrounded by the beautiful 7 Kings Park, and has good near-by transport links for when people come and visit you. It is clear that they are really stretched on resources, but even still myself and my friends on the Ward all received good care. I am all better now, and just really grateful for the NHS providing the care that saved my life, and even more grateful for the Nurses of NELFT who worked so hard, yet also were so very kind. Thank you Sunflowers Court! 5-Stars.

Mental health unit. Nice grounds & individual comfortable rooms. Staff are helpful but under pressure. Meals are good and varied. If your visiting with children there's family rooms, and being as it can be rather volatile in the lounge area there's quiet rooms.

If it was possible to give NO STARS I would. Sister was here for few days with psychosis linked to lack of sleep. Compared to others there she was still 100% herself and was so shocked by the way staff treated patients and spoke toward both her and myself. All staff need retraining, health and safety standards need to be evaluated as from how the interact with patients is disturbing. Not being able to tell patient apart and giving wrong mediation to people. For a place that is ment to help mental health patients they are not succeeding in helping but making them worse and feeling more isolated than ever. At the end of the day no matter what they are still people who don't deserve to be ignored when asked for basic things like tissue and having doors shut in their faces.
