I was discharged without any communication. No letter, email, text or call. I've been waiting 5 months to be seen because they "lost" my referral but constantly lied saying it was my doctors surgery's fault. Then my appointed health care person cancelled my appointment 3 times in 1 week!!! I'm finally on the list for medication, but being made to wait a further 3 weeks. Despite being at the end of my tether with anxiety. Totally unfair, unprofessional and dehumanising service.

Poor service, they donβt listen to what is going on, waiting months for the assessment to get no where but left feeling like I was burden to them. The lady I dealt with could barely speak English and was rude. If this is the service that people are receiving for mental health, then we are in trouble, absolutely shocking service

Very disappointed and dissatisfying service for mental health patients. Personal data left everywhere on the reception. Unwelcoming and rude. Eating infront of patients - should not be acceptable as some patients may have triggers to food etc. Never call when they said they would. Receptionist are rude and call patients name - saying they can not assist and no one else is available to help. No communication what so ever - even when asked to be contacted to be kept updated. Regrettable decision talking to them. Would not recommend at all

The whole experience was regrettable. From the (lack of) communication to the 3 month wait for a triage appointment for an urgent mental health need, the system is so heavily stacked against patients. There was no text / email / letter to confirm details of an appointment. Only a hastily typed message with a date and time, no location or address. Patients are ill and in distress, but here they are having to fight to be taken seriously. To be discounted and disbelieved is often worse than being ill. We often don't have the mental and emotional resources to fight our corner. That's why we see mental health professionals. I was not told in advance that the appointment would be a combination of my ADHD assessment and mental health issues. I was not told in advance to bring any school reports, parents input etc but then I was immediately written off on the basis of what I said without the "thorough investigation" I had hoped the NHS is famed for. I specifically requested that any further communication be in writing and the mental health nurse said ok "cos you forget things?" I shall not be recommending this uncompassionate shambles of a service to anyone.

Waited 3 months for a completely apathetic worker to tell me that my mental health issues were too severe for their therapy services. I was offered no alternatives and left the place in tears.

Absolute waste of time, the assessor could hardly speak English Didn't take a blind bit of notice of my answers to questions that were not relevant to my plight, took an age to type any answers I gave, then had the cheek to say we had ran out of time!!!! By which time they now know my name, age, occupation etc But sod all else about the reason I need help, the whole experience has made me even more stressed and anxious than I was before I went (I even had to fill in a question / answer assessment form myself) Whilst he went missing!!!!!!!!

Donβt waste your time. I went in as I am suspected to have ADHD. Explained all my issues. The guy there hardy took notice at my critical points, never took notes. These so called psychiatrists are not qualified as these deemed I have traits of adhd but I donβt have adhd?? Haha, student βpsychiatristsβ what a waste of time.

They never called me back, didn't properly listen to me and wasted 3 months of my time. I'm no closer to what I went to the doctors for originally and I've got to start from square one again. Literally the worst service I've received.
