My old GP Dr Rahman were absolutely brilliant but unfortunately they decided to hand in their licence. I decided to move to Dr Pervez Surgery. When I registered the receptionist said I have to have an initial consultation with the GP before they allowed to issue me any medication including repeat medication. I challenged this as I am pregnant and Diabetic. The receptionist was adamant that I can't be issued any medication and booked me in for the earliest slot available with the GP. At this point I was running low on medication. I received a last minute text that the GP has gone off sick and my appointment has been cancelled. I called reception, this time a different lady and she said they say to their new patients that they have to have a consultation first because no one shows up otherwise, she said on this occasion she will request for my repeat medication. It went worse from there. I have lost count of how many times I had emailed for a repeat prescription and was ignored, had suffered with hyperglycemia events, no medication issued to my pharmacy unless i chased this up several times. Written in an email I listed all the medication I needed and only 1 would be prescribed, unknown why Dr Pervez missed out the other medications several times, to even putting in the wrong prescription. I had to put in a complaint and get ombudsman involved several times. Dr Pervez called me and was absolutely patronising on the phone saying I was excessively asking for insulin, i tried to explain should they have read my emails i was chasing up for the medication they never bothered to prescribe. I also complained that i had to chase them up 1-2 weeks for the medications needed. In a nutshell Dr Pervez said I am not due for a repeat until he says so upon his calculation and that means when I run out! Its insulin during pregnancy! Thats medical negligence! I should be down to my last box and be topped up, not down to my last pen and even my midwife agreed with me! He had the audacity to lie to my midwife that he has been prescribing my medications timely and when i asked. Luckily i have the email chain and call log history, my midwife also did not believe him as i kept her in the loop and my Diabetic book record is proof of my controlled insulin before Dr pervez took over as my GP! In a space of a few months I have gone through so much unnecessary stress, I believe DR Pervez has lost his bearings! 1) He has stated he prescibed me X amount of medication when even the pharmacy have a record he has prescribed far less 2) Prescribed me Folic acid when i asked for Aspirin. 3) Took 1-2 weeks of chasing up for repeat medication, with no explanation as to why it had taken them that long. 4) Missed out on so many medication requests in one email, only prescribing 1 thing out of 3. For no reason given. On multiple occasions. His behaviour has caused me to suffer during my pregnancy and thus forced to move to a different GP. Absolutely disgusting behaviour, Dr Pervez needs his license removed. I have put in an official complaint and to the ombudsmen. I hope that was enough of a warning for anyone who is thinking of signing up to this place!

Very rude in this gp me and my whole family have now gone somewhere else donβt waste your time I work on nhs panels and donβt tolerate the attitude. When I explained some of the people joining are elderly and donβt own a driverβs license or passport they didt want to know and was not helpful and told me I canβt use a bank statement bare in mind some of us donβt have a utility bill just a big joke !

Dr Parvez has been my family doctor for a number of years, and we could not have wished for a more caring doctor. He has helped take care of my elderly grandparents and they are extremely grateful for the kind and caring way they have been treated over the years. It is always easy to get an appointment at the surgery and all staff treat the patients with great care. I would recommend this surgery to all, Dr Parvez is the best GP we have ever had.
