   Won't be going back to Chicken Stop again!.. Very POOR customer service. A woman who I presume was staff, sat behind the counter on her phone without a friendly smile, plus the actual takeaway premises was empty and lifeless. Also she looked at me intently as if I had turned up to rob the place however it was ME that was robbed! I was ripped-off to the tune of £5.50 for a meal that normally costs £3.50. So OK, the chips cost an extra £1.99 but it was actually included in the very same meal (so it says via the description on the wall menu!). The same meal that I could have paid £3.50 for! The docile woman explained prices had gone up.. Sorry?... What?!.. Within 5 mins of me walking in?! What a DUMB reply! I will give this business another 2 years or so before it's finally closed down or taken over by new management. A total waste of land space!

   Used to be really good but has gone downhill somewhat. Still enjoyable, but would no longer be my first choice for the cost. Chicken burgers are excellent but the chips are a let down, good if it’s there/ after a night out

   Last Friday night I bought a chicken burger and chips from chicken stop, my friend also had a few bites of the burger and the next morning we had very bad food poisoning/salmonella. We were both extremely ill and throwing up all throughout Saturday; we were unable to eat, drink or even move out of bed! It was a shame as I had plans on Saturday I could not attend, I did not expect to feel that dreadful. In addition, I did notice how quick the burger took to be made suggesting the burger had not been cooked properly. I will never be going to chicken stop again. Umi

   Tasty. £4.50 for a wrap, seems reasonable, however the portion size was smaller than I would have hoped for. The Yin did not match the Yang. 4 stars.

   I went to this shop as I had done many times in the past with no issues.However this particular time was met with some very disturbing issues. What seemed like the manager of the shop, felt the need to physically assault me by choking me as I had questioned how functional his card machine was. My order was given to me however the receipt showed the wrong card number. My friends, however was not given to him and when we checked up the card number was also wrong on the receipt. When we questioned this we were met with violence by a man called Aziz -supposedly. He then cancelled here by orders and shut shop when we threatened to call police. If this place somehow stays open I recommend you do not order here as the workers are not civilised enough to restrain themselves from violence. This particular man who runs the show, by the looks of it, does not understand the simple and basic civilised concept of not physically assaulting someone else after some criticism.

   I love this place. Best chicken fillet burger you will find in leeds. The man defended me after an unfortunate altercation with some mean men and has been very kind to me ever since. I will never stop coming here; fluffy chips and a GREAT burger at a fabulous price! 5 stars!!!

   As a fourth year student I have tried many a chip far and wide. If you value shape, depth, crispiness, softness inside… chicken stop is the place for you. Sure, the woman at the front could be a bit more positive. However the feeling you’ll get once you bite into such perfectly cooked, crisp chips will beat any negative emotion any server could give you. I recently had the pleasure of tasting a cheesy chip, also. The cheese? Incredible. Combined with the immaculately cooked chip? A unique combination you can only find at chicken stop.

   I like this place a lot. Their burgers are phenomenal, especially with all the different options. Something I have picked up on Chicken Stop is their chips. Their chips are always hard and become cold very quickly. This is the reason I rate this 4 stars. I would 100% recommend the burgers to everyone but would advise you not to get the chips.
