   Food quality, it’s a Toby Carvery with food on a hot plate. If you’re expecting 5 star food, you’re going to the wrong place. It does however pleasantly fill a hole and nothing to complain about. The service was outstanding. We were looked after by Kath who was cheerful and helpful the whole time we were there. Kath would be the main reason we would go back.

   As frequent Toby Carvery customers, we found this location completely unacceptable. We will not be returning due to the severely substandard service and management oversight. Upon arrival, we were forced to dine in the bar area, where our table was visibly dirty and the bar itself was often left unmanned, resulting in poor atmosphere and inconvenience. The carvery experience was a failure. Only one staff member was operating the entire counter, leading to unacceptable delays and a complete breakdown of service. This individual was visibly overwhelmed and stressed, sweating and frequently abandoning the counter to retrieve supplies. When we were finally served, the carvery was not fully stocked. We were required to ask for three core items—the roast potatoes, stuffing, and a vegetable dish—all of which should have been readily available. This necessary request only compounded the delay for every customer waiting. The issues here are a direct result of gross understaffing, which jeopardized the quality of our meal and created a stressful, uncomfortable environment. This location does not meet the standards we expect from Toby Carvery.

   My husband and I booked on a whim for a 7:30 table on a Sunday - we called and the staff member we spoke to was so helpful. We just happened to be able to be seated early, and Kath was with us straight away. The interactions we had with all the staff were fantastic but she really was a standout, being really attentive and personable the entire time. The lovely staff member manning the carvery was really helpful, and the food was so nice! We upgraded to king-size, which was a bit much in the end, so Kath sorted us out a box to take the rest home. Once we’d got our carvery we went back to our table and our drinks were waiting for us, which was such a personal touch. All in all a 10/10 experience! We definitely will be back. Thank you to the whole team ❤️

   Visited Eleventh Earl tonight for carvery dinner with my parents. Excellent food (oodles of it), all cooked fresh and with huge choice of roast meats and veg. Great value at less than a tenner each. Looked after by the lovely Kath who was excellent. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

   Its a Carvery, and so the food is exactly how you'd expect. Good, cheap food. What makes this Carvery nice in particular is the staff. Every time we come here the staff are attentive, kind, smiley and well mannered. They're often up for a laugh and it makes it an easy place to come. We really rate this place thanks to the team running it. Keep it up

   We had a carvery here yesterday - 3 Adults and 3 children. Every bit of the carvery was lovely. It was good before but this particular time it was outstanding! Chefs great and waiting Staff also lovely and helpful 5* from all of us.

   Good pub, good food. It's your standard Toby Carvery, and has been consistently good for the past few years. Booking on a Sunday is a must, but mid week you can turn up and get a table. There's a decent amount of parking for a standard day, but maybe not a Sunday lunch time.
