Do not buy your foreign currency from this shop. You do not get a transaction print out and the rate you receive is far below the market rate of that day. We received 1.06 Euro to £1. The LIBOR rate that day was 1.16. Disgraceful
Great service, warm and pleasant staff
Friend books holiday through Hays. Despite paying for child free 4 star all inclusive, we're given grotty hotel (pictures are filthy), no food available, and not child free. Hayes customer service useless and refused any recourse. Blamed easyjet but took no responsibility and offered no refund or compensation.
One star is too much for this company! Disgusted at how they are treating my mum. She is 80 and just lost my dad after 63 years of marriage. She decided she wanted to go to Sardinia as this is a place they both loved to help with the grieving process. They sold her a holiday in treble quick time all smiles as the £900 plus shot out of her account. When she went in to do her booking in two weeks before, they told her it had been cancelled but reassured her that they were actioning a refund at that moment. Weeks on she still doesn’t have her money back and they can’t tell her when it will be back in her account. Mum is so upset and feels like she has used her and dad’s money wastefully! I’m fuming with this company, the after-sales (once they’ve whipped your money away) is non-exsistent! Their blasé attitude of it will happen whenever and there’s nothing they can do is appalling! Disgusted with Hay’s Travel is an understatement!
My husband and I had the misfortune of booking our holiday with themnin maghull They used their email address then told us to upload the tui app... No good to us because emails go to them directly at maghull Hayes travel !!!! Not my husband!!! They are closed because it's the new year we leave the UK on the 2nd!!!! They are closed until the 4th. Hopefully we can get our tickets at the airport don't book with Hayes magull ... the staff are very unhelpful
