   Came for 3 nights stay, safe to say was a wonderful experience. Staff was very accommodating and the room was sufficient for the price. Location is beautiful also with an amazing park close by. Feels very cosy. Conveniently a very flavourful and tasty restaurant just 30 seconds away in the same building. Would highly recommend.

   We recently celebrated a birthday at this venue and had a great experience! The staff (especially Paul) was very respectful, friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. They made sure everything ran smoothly and made the process very easy for us. The space itself was beautifully decorated and spacious—perfect for both kids and adults to relax and have fun. The setup was beautiful and we received many compliments about the event and the food was also fantastic . The staff were also very accommodating with our requests. Whether you're planning a small gathering or a bigger bash, this venue really delivers on every front. Thank you for making the birthday so memorable! We’ll definitely be back for future events.

   One of the best about! Bravo Baylis, got on really well with staff and everyone in the hotel seemed really friendly and the bed is really comfy which is a massive bonus while being away from my own! Hope to being seeing Baylis again real soon.

   If you are looking for a half decent place to stay at a reasonable price, book a Travelodge and avoid this place. The photo online is not the hotel, it’s the restaurant. This is comparable with a hostel at best. No TV, one person working here, no bar and no alcohol in adjoining restaurant. This is poor at best and I’m still waiting to see if the party that was banging away in the room next door will still be going when I need to get some much needed sleep!

   Absolute shambles of a hotel which is a real shame because the building is amazing and the potential is unlimited. So we checked in and the receptionist was eating his food and watching a movie, he asked us to wait and 15-20mins later after he finished eaten he finally sorted our room out, this was an absolute disgrace and extremely unprofessional. We got to our room and it was an absolute state, stains on the wall, bathroom mirror and the bedding, wall paper was ripped, bathroom was a mess, the bath was mouldy and had chunks of the plastics missing and to top it off the TV doesn’t work!! Room 6. I won’t be staying again nor recommending to family and friends. Only if I could upload pictures here… Stay away!

   new owners are terrible, i made a booking with them took the payment, on the day one hour before they cancelled my book and assured me it would not happen again and it happened again exactly 6 days after, spoke to reception the gentleman (boy) said oh well first come first serve, no way on earth this venue should remain open, either pass back to the old owners or sell on to someone better! worst management ever, Paul the manager doesnt bother always runs off, no management skills what so ever, housekeeping has to get managements permission for an extra towel! old management was so much better and had structure.

   Will not be booking to stay again anytime soon. Hole in the ceiling in the corridor outside our room that had water dripping out of. They had put a metal bucket underneath to catch the water. This made a racket all night and we had little to no sleep. Only thing to eat or drink was a coffee machine, even though website stated, bar and vending machines. Only upside was the cleanliness of the room.
