Perfectly located outside Chessington and just off the main road. Rooms were spacious and clean with ample amenities. The restaurant is next door (separate buildings) but only a short walk door to door. Staff were friendly and polite. Would happily stay her again.

Car park dark and very poorly lit. Room absolutely stank upon arrival and wall was damaged. I pulled back bedcover and found hair under the duvet. Went straight downstairs and in fairness the receptionist moved me immediately. Next room was better. Went next door for food, again it was dark and poorly lit. Food was mediocre and drinks flat. Would not recommend staying here.

Room itself was ok however the bathroom definitely needs updating There was a door in the corridor directly right outside the room, every time someone walks through the door slams shut begins them and is extremely loud in the room. We couldn’t have a proper lay in and every few minutes the door was banging from early morning. The door seriously needs soft close. Also people talking in the corridor can be heard very loud in the room Been to a few premier inns and this was probably the worst Free parking was a plus though

Given 2 stars purely because the staff were decent folk and did the right thing. The room(s) however, are a different story. I booked this Hotel for 2 nights, costing £155 in total. We arrived after 10pm as we had travelled up by train once my Husband had finished work, and after a good 3½hrs of travelling (and with myself being 4 months pregnant) it was fair to say we were very tired. Check in was easy and straightforward, however, the following that transpired is what pushed us to cancel our 2nd nights stay and find accommodation elsewhere: • Hit by musty damp smell on opening room door. • Instantly followed by toilet smell. • Noticed toilet hadn't been cleaned. Urine and feces still in toilet bowl. • Notice it hadn't been flushed because flush quite literally had been broken, so no idea how long it had been sat there "stewing". • Also noticed only one pillow and one towel in double room booked for 2 adults? • Husband goes to Reception to complain. This is at around 2230. • Night receptionist tries to tell Husband that there isn't anything he can do. Obviously we aren't staying in a room with a flush that doesn't work with someone else's feces in the bowl, so Husband says "absolutely not, please do something about this." • Husband informs Night Receptionist that I am pregnant and a filthy bathroom with no flush won't do, so the Night Receptionist gets us into an accessible room, but only for one night out of the two. • Husband asks about the second night we have booked, the receptionist says we have to ask the desk in the morning to see if there are any rooms left for us by then, and that there are only "4 rooms left". • Husband asks if we can be put down as a priority seeing as we're already here, receptionist says no because of the way their systems work? And that basically we have to get up super early, head to reception and hope that all the rooms don't book up overnight. • This obviously doesn't sit right with us, as we now technically don't have a room for the second night. • We are tired and say "Okay, that's a problem for tomorrow." • The accessible room is adequate. Still smells a little bit of damp but not as bad. Bed is clean, also nice and big. • Though there is an internal door to the room nextdoor to us that makes me paranoid. I put a chair up against it to feel more secure. • We try and settle in, and put the heating on. It's on for about 15mins before it starts to smell like burning. Smell gets worse and worse until we decide to turn it off, as it's overpowering and making us anxious. • No heating at all in room while it's 4°C outside. It's very very cold in the room all night. • Husband goes to take a shower, the wet room floor essentially floods due to bad drainage, and isn't even completely dry by morning. • Mold on accessibility apparatus & what looks like hair shavings on bathroom wall? (Husband and I didn't bring any razors with us.) • It's about Midnight now, and we've decided to book alternative accomodation as we had lost all hope for this Hotel. • Try to sleep. • Get up to go to loo about 3am (for the 100th time because I am pregnant), go to flush toilet and it only starts to dribble, not flush, that doesn't stop until morning. • Try to sleep again, but can't. Don't manage to nod off until 5am. • Woken up by other guests who are talking loudly outside our room. Directly upstairs guest had children that I'm guessing were jumping on and off the bed. Sounded like they would come through the ceiling at one point. (No soundproofing at all, walls paper thin.) • Decide to get up earlier than planned, packed up and checked out a day early. Again, the reason I give 2 stars is because the staff did the right thing by moving us, and agreeing to refund the 2nd night without any fuss. I will update this and confirm once the refund has processed. I really feel for some of the staff. Everyone we spoke to were nice enough, and I feel as if Premier Inn has forgotten them. My advice to staff: I know a sinking ship when I see one. Been there, done that. Jump ship while you still can.

This big Premier Inn has been here for years, you see it beneath you when you go on the Vampire ride – this was my first time staying over though, so there you go. I didn’t actually get to go on the Vampire this time, it was broken – first time in 30+ years I’ve found that. Still, that’s unrelated to this Premier Inn, except it probably made it quieter during the day… Booking this place was easy, as it always is with a Premier Inn – pricing based on how much of a risk you think cancellation is. I went all in and took the risk, I rarely cancel once I’ve made my mind up. £95 for a night in mid-October. Not bad at all. Paid online so check-in was easy, no issues. This is a basic hotel, I don’t think they have the plus type rooms, so everything is the standard. That’s fine though. Room was comfortable and clean, weirdly some of the pillows were trapped in a small bag on top of the shelves, soon sorted that though. Set them free…. Choice of car park view or bushes – got the bushes, with glimpse of Vampiric track amidst the leaves. There is car parking on site – odd rules. You can park there from check-in time to check-out for free. Not bad. Otherwise, I think it was about £8 to park from 8am to 6pm. Also not bad. Not bad at all. Premier Inn shares the site with the sad husk of the Monkey Puzzle, which in its heyday was one of the best Beefeaters in the chain – it had many levels, with ropes and esoterica scattered around. Had many good meals at the Monkey Puzzle. It breaks my heart to see it so. Now, Beefeater no longer, the hotel seems to use part of the former restaurant as it’s in-house breakfast room, also offering a limited menu service in the evening. Like a scavenger, dwelling within the remnants of fallen civilisation. A far cry from the days of the fabled Steak Feast, the iconic Horn of Plenty, and the legendary breaded mushrooms. Bring it back. In fact, go all the way, right back to the 80s - bring back the free bread rolls at the start of the meal as well. Overall, this is a fine hotel if you’re visiting the amusement park and need a night either side of the stay – it’s much cheaper than the resort hotels and equally as convenient. There’s a Vintage Inn about 10 minutes down the road (opposite direction to the park) – that’s a chain that has something of the old Beefeater spirit about it.

Not far off the M25. Stayed here so I could get a train into London for an appointment. It is within walking distance (0.8 miles) of Chessington south station on the line to Waterloo. It is very close to Chessington World of Adventure, which I walked past on my way to the station. The room was smaller than other Premier Inns I have used. Everything you needed was there. The bed is the most important and was comfortable, as usual. The heater worked well until the air conditioning unit, directly above it, kicked in & cancelled out the heater. Couldn't work out the electronic controls & there's no on / off switch on the aircon. Ended up turning both off & got into bed. There was an unpleasant strong smell of musty damp from the bathroom. It looked superficially clean but I had to keep the door closed to stop the smell permeating into the room. There is a Beefeater next door. Can't comment on it as I didn't go there.

Hotel was a complete disgrace, the first room we were given had mould between the tiles in the bathroom paint flaking off the wall in the room itself of which flakes were even on the floor the the damp mould smell made it impossible for us to stay in the room!!! Maybe a visit from the environmental health wouldn't go amiss after complaining to staff we moved to our second room this time as well as mouldy smell toilet was leaking heater did not work. Moved to room 3 heater work bed had seen better days but as we were on a trip for a special occasion we decided to stay. The Staff at the hotel were as helpful as possible but the hotel and the Premier Inn group have massively let them down in a big way I will certainly be writing a complaint and may even be writing to environmental standards

Poor really. Given a disabled Room, the bathroom flooring was dirty, there was a crack in the TV screen across the full width. Couldn't access the heating panel on the wall, the room was freezing. Not good enough Premier Inn, sorry.

Bed comfy but bathroom dirty and tatty with paint peeling and nasty dirty sealant around the skirting boards. Room very very warm , no fan No lift Issues at check in with there system even though it was booked through a company and no help offered other than you can’t check in till you’ve paid so you’ll have to pay it yourself Stay in premier inns frequently and this was by far the worst

The staff greeting was not up to standard, and their dress code is very relaxed for a Premier Inn. The room was okay, a little dirty. There was a large piece of snot on the shower curtain and a few hairs in the sink. The bed was okay but loud and squeaky under any movement. Wi-Fi on the first day was okay but on the second day it was far worse, and I kept losing connection while I was working. There was an odd heavily drunk man roaming the place and staff seemed to know him like he is a regular which was surprising.
