Me and my boyfriend stayed here after a long haul flight back to Heathrow, with plans to get a good nights rest and then travel home in the morning. Upon arrival, the car park didn’t feel very safe, and after looking at reviews I’ve seen that guests often get broken into. Check in process was quick and easy, we were given a key to room 115, and inputted car reg plate for the free parking. However, it is a very tired hotel that needs a major revamp. Room only unlocks from outside with a physical key, no latch inside so again, we didn’t feel very safe. The room felt and smelt very damp and could have been cleaner, but it wasn’t filthy. Just noticed some odd bits that hadn’t been cleaned (shower faucet, edges of carpet, plug holes, few marks on bedding etc). It had the basic amenities you’d expect at a Travelodge. We were probably in the room for about 30 minutes when we decided to just tackle the 3 hour drive home, mainly due to not feeling safe at all, and the dampness of the room.

AVOID - BUG FOUND CRAWLING ON BED Ended up leaving at night once I found a little friend on my bed. The room also had a smell and is outdated. No lock on doors from the inside so did not feel safe either. Only access room via a physical key on the outside (no keyhole to lock from the inside). Reception was not much help either. They were more concerned about a bad review and tried to downplay the situation.

Without a doubt, the worst place I have ever stayed. Thank god it's only for the one night. The fan in the bathroom is on constantly. The curtains do absolutely nothing to stop the harsh streetlights outside. The lights in the hallway are bright enough to light Wembley Stadium and bleed through the bottom of the door. I cannot escape the light.

Room was nicely decorated and clean, the carpets where in fair condtion which was nice when having a crawling baby. Only downside tv aeriel wires where all loose on the skirting the front cover for keeping them boxed in was missing which isnt great with little ones. Would also be nice to have a lock on bathroom door or the door handle adjusted so it stopped shut instead of been eaily pushed open. Also greenery at back needs attention our room did have weeds growing through the window. Great basic base for heathrow or legoland and suprisingly not as a noisy as imagined due to closeness and also toby cavery next day making it convienent for breakfast

Rooms fine for what you pay. Location OK for where we needed to be. Front desk service non existent. Waited 10 mins for anyone to appear. No apology or acknowledgement of our wait. Asked for our names and told room upstairs, was the whole conversation. Dining staff however were friendly and chatty and efficient.

Rooms are nice and big beds are nice and big and comfortable. There is only one problem I love dogs but I don’t like it when I know they have been in the room they should have a special room just for dogs that is the only negative I have about this Travelodge and every other Travelodge I stay in. And I forgot to say that the staff are always helpful that’s the day staff and the evening staff plus not for getting the night staff to

So this Travelodge doesn't look anything special from the outside, but it's in a good location for an overnight stop en route to London, its great value for money and the rooms are newly decorated (Nov 2022). M4 and Langley rail station not far away and Elizabeth line takes you quickly into London. Overall, recommended!

Positives first. Checking in was fine and the gent on was helpful to me. Tonight however, there seems to be no-one there just a sign with a mobile number. Toby Carvery is ideal. Maxi portions for minimum cash and tasty. Bed and sheets were clean and comfortable. I didn't take breakfast. Final positive is free parking which was the main reason I booked here and the proximity of where I was working. Negatives. I copied this from another review. I think the other reviewer must have been in my room. In need of major overhaul. While everything in the room *does* work, it's clearly been in service for over 20 years and looks, feels and acts dated. Lighting fixtures is a weird mix of fluorescent and LED, however LED fixtures in need of replacement as they are very dim. No overhead lamp at bed end of room. Carpets clearly very well worn and have lost their colour. Bathroom fan a bit on the loud side. No sockets next to bed!

Usefully located near enough Heathrow Airport to be used for an early flight departure. Next door is a good Toby Carvery for an evening meal and generous breakfast. Parking is included in the overnight stay. We use this Travelodge regularly and are never disappointed.
