Today i went for my first massage for a painful neck ache with restricted movement. I booked with Alison, one of the senior therapists at LIVEWELL HEALTH Sports massage therapy. I completed a full history and physical questionnaire as it was my first visit, then Alison explained what the massage would involve. My neck felt a little less tense after the treatment but still tender. Alison told me to add ice and heat to the area and would contact my after 48 hours to see how i felt. She suggested further treatment would be beneficial as my shoulder area was very tense. Alison is very knowledgeable professional and gave me great advice. I feel I will definitely be re-booking. I had a sport massage following lower back pain and tight hamstrings. I tried physio and home stretching along with pain relief however didnt help. One of my colleagues recommended Livewell for tissue massages. Alison is an amazing person who made me feel very comfortable and provided me with information and care throughout my treatment. It was my first sports massage, Alison targeted specific areas which help release tension to relieve my symptoms. I had a very positive treatment session and i will definitely be booking for further sessions.
Absolutely amazing! Very knowledgable with the perfect amount of care and force, with me leaving feeling like a new man. Offers insight on motions to use post treatment to ensure injuries are kept to a minimum. Would highly recommend!

First time meeting with Alison today for an on going issue with my back. Fantastic experience with a big improvement on my flexibility compared to before the treatment already. Alison knows her stuff and is very friendly. She's given me some useful ideas to take away with me. I've already booked in for my next two sessions with her as I got more from one session with her today than years following the doctors or NHS recommendations.
