We had a lovely stay at The Greyhound last week. We enjoyed the Christmas Market which hosted lots of local businesses. The atmosphere was great. This is our go to place when we need some rest and relaxation. Colum, Anne Marie and the team are great, very welcoming and look after us so well. The rooms are lovely and the food is great. Looking forward to our next trip for the Six Nations Rugby. If you are ever in the area make sure you pay a visit

Me & my wife stayed here for our wedding night in one of the boutique rooms. The room was absolutely beautiful and the view was stunning. To top off our experience the staff were soo fantastic and made our stay just that bit extra special. So thank you Greyhound staff. We were so pleased with our stay we have decided to have a yearly stay on our anniversary and have already booked for next October. :) so see you next year

Excellent service, delightful, clean rooms, terrific location overlooking the pond and probably the best full english breakfast I have ever had! Good selection of beers and above all, staff who go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. This hotel definitely punches above its weight! we will come back.

I throughly enjoyed my two night stay at The Greyhound, a big thanks to the very friendly owners and the staff. I found the room to be very clean and such a comfy bed and super duvet and a decent room temperature. The restaurant breakfast and dinners were served to perfection and were not lacking in taste nor presentation, a decent selection of beer too. I suppringly found the room to be very well insulated from both external and internal noises. Public transport was moments away and we were in cental London in no time at all. I look forward to my next stay there and have no hassle in recommending the Greyhound pub and hotel to anyone or groups.

Lovely hotel. Room was well presented and spacious. The en suite was clean and modern. Although we didn't make use of it, it was nice to see the honesty snack selection. The breakfast room was very nice and there was a good selection of food on offer. We did however have to wait quite a while for our cooked breakfast. There was a wedding party staying. Knowing this you would have thought there would have been extra staff on duty. There was only one server, who couldn't have done any more, but could have done with some assistance.

My family & I stayed here for two night's as part of a family gathering. We could not fault the hospitality, kindness and attention to detail given to our group collectively from the moment we arrived until we left. The atmosphere was very warm and it felt like a home away from home. The food was top class, the drinks were reasonable priced and the ambience was second to none. Thank you for making our trip such a memorable one..Would definitely return.xx

Lovely old coach house pub. Food was hit and miss - fish and chips were perfect but the sides were almost dessicated! The post-teen serving staff need a bit more vigour in them, like the senior staff who were communicative, efficient and capable of not constantly trampling my coat. Regardless, I'd still recommend!

Met up with some friends (with kids) for a Saturday Xmas season lunch. We pre-ordered the food, which was all on a good level. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Drinks orders arrived promptly and they have a good selection of beers and whiskeys. Would come again anytime!

Really great service from The Greyhound. We arrived early and the staff were so accommodating. The menu is fantastic for both adults and children. The food was served promptly and it was all delicious. Can fully recommend the roasts and the chocolate torte! There is ample parking and the venue is child friendly. The place was packed when we visited which made for a lovely vibrant atmosphere. It is a wonderful place to share a meal with the family surrounded by grandfather clocks, decorated fireplaces and gorgeous lighting features, especially if you get a table overlooking the ponds. Would fully recommend and advise booking in advance.

Had a family Sunday Lunch here on a busy day. Massive plate for main course, really tasty roast carrots and parsnips, excellent Yorkshire Puddings lashings of gravy. Friendly helpful staff, although when the bar order machine broke down our missing drinks seemed to make them a bit less friendly, then their genuine mistake with one drink, not sure what to say, except this is a very busy pub/restaurant where the staff are very busy, we still had a nice family time. I'll happily go back here for food and drinks. I'll try the fish and chips next time as when I saw the plate go past it looked excellent.
