Having booked for 4 days during the Christmas holidays, our arrival in the neighborhood went well. However, once we reached reception, we were left completely on our own to find our room, with no assistance whatsoever for our luggage. When we arrived at the room, it was ridiculously small (the price is absolutely not worth it and I strongly advise against it). The carpet was dirty, there was nowhere to place our suitcases, no slippers or bathrobes were provided, and there was mold in the bathroom, non existence of bottle water which you have to paid — worthy of a 2-star hotel at best, and I’m being generous. After the first night, my partner was bitten by bed bugs. I asked to speak to a manager, who clearly told us that there were no rooms available (8,000 rooms fully booked??). We had to wait 20 minutes before another room was finally made available. No medical care was provided by the hotel, not even a basic infirmary for minor injuries — a real disgrace. I had to ask for ice to relieve the bites and buy medication and cream at a pharmacy myself. The manager refused to acknowledge that the issue came from the hotel. Bed linens are only partially changed, as are the bath towels (which had blood stains). I also had to ask the staff to vacuum the entire room again because there were dust balls on the carpet and hair in the bathroom. Unacceptable. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel (at your own risk).

This is a lovely hotel just off Kensington High Street, so just a short walk to some great parts of London such as Earls Court and Kensington Gardens and with a Tube station just a few minutes away. The staff are lovely; we had a problem with our booking which was quickly sorted and a problem with the tv which again was quickly remedied. The entrance and foyer were being decorated for Christmas when we arrived-very stylish and appropriate. Our room was very nice with a very comfortable bed, good storage and a very nice bathroom. We didn’t use the gym facilities as didn’t have time. On the second day of our visit we used the coffee bar- very good coffee but served in a takeaway cup rather than a real cup which I found quirky but not a problem. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. We stayed as a family but I would be confident in using the hotel as a solo traveller.

Thank you to the hotel for an excellent stay. The breakfast was varied, and everything was close by. The place was beautiful with a cozy atmosphere and a great view. Thank you to everyone working here. Special thanks to Ali — the staff member at Starbucks — and to Gwrsua. All the employees were kind, and the hotel felt very safe. Nothing was taken from the room, and everything was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn High Street Kensington London, and my experience was genuinely wonderful. The hotel is in an excellent location—just a short walk from the tube station and surrounded by shops, cafés, and beautiful Kensington streets. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, offering everything needed for a relaxing stay. The facilities were well-maintained, and the breakfast had a great variety with fresh options each morning. A special mention goes to Sultana at the resturant who was incredibly welcoming. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made me feel looked after. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting London. Great location, excellent service, and staff who truly care about guest experience. I’ll definitely stay again!

A Truly Wonderful Stay at Holiday Inn! I stayed at the Holiday Inn for 3 days, and it was an absolutely beautiful experience. I honestly never expected such a warm and welcoming environment. You can really tell that the staff genuinely care about their guests. From the cleaners and maids to the supervisor, everyone was so helpful and kind. What impressed me most was the attitude of the staff - they all went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I could sense the positive and friendly atmosphere as soon as I entered the hotel. While I was on my way to the room, the Floor Supervisor Kajal (saw the name on her badge) even asked if she could help me with my luggage. That simple gesture showed how dedicated they are to guest satisfaction, even when it's not technically part of their job. Everything about my stay was perfect - the cleanliness, the service, and the overall hospitality. Thank you to the entire Holiday Inn team for such a wonderful stay. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending this hotel to others!

Great cost-benefit ratio. Lots of amenities. Rooms are really comfortable! Although the hotel has a profile more focused on business and conferences, I personally had a great time there while travelling for leisure. Walkable distance to Underground station (Kensington high street).

Rooms were spotless, with shower gels and shampoos in large pump dispensers for your convenience. Only snag is that you can't bring them home as souvenirs like the little ones in other hotels. Towels were clean. We had a fridge, hairdryer and coffee maker. On the downside the room was unbelievably cramped with one small luggage rack in a double room. There was no room for the second suitcase. I kept knocking my legs on the furniture and getting very irritated by the lack of space. They were also quite stingy with the free teas and coffees, giving us only 1 teabag per night, but 4 coffees incl decaf. One of the best features was having Starbucks in the hotel itself which was great as I couldn't walk very much. Unfortunately it closes at 4 pm. I hope hotel management will look into this and extend hours till 6/630.

The hotel is in walking distance of a few museums and a lot of stores. The tub is also in walking distance so no worries about getting around. Need to go grocery shopping there’s a Whole Foods 10 minute walk away. The swimming pool is super nice there’s a bar and the staff is really friendly. I can’t complain.

Was a bit hesitant to stay here after seeing some reviews, however to our surprise we had a wonderful stay. Even with the business of the London Marathon, the staff was pleasant, dinning room was managed well, and overall, the hotel had a great atmosphere. The only complaint I have is that our room was not ready until 30 minutes after check-in time.. but that was minimal and barely a complaint as the rest of our stay made up for it. Great location. Would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Pros: Close to transportation. Quiet area. Decent-sized room. Everything in the room worked. Pool and spa had nice facilities. Cons: Terrible restaurant and lounge service. Card keys needed to be replaced daily. Extremely busy front desk with long lines each day. Elevators frequently broke down; one elevator was broken during the entire stay. Pool cost ₤5 per day and was closed frequently. Had non-hotel guests taking up half the pool. No ice machines or fridges. Two rooms,11 days in June 2022. Picked this place based on the brand and location. The location was good, but the brand was meaningless. The card keys are horrible! They rarely worked and had to be replaced daily. Given elevator problems and lines at the front desk, this was a MAJOR SOURCE OF GRIEF each and every day. We ensured the keys were kept away from sources of interference etc. Was appalled at the restaurant service. Very busy in the mornings, but limited in what food was available. Scrambled eggs were practically floating in the tray, they were so wet. We never had breakfast there again. The restaurant was unavailable after breakfast. Room service is advertised, but they NEVER answered the phone. I tried multiple times, over multiple days, and never got an answer. Finally had to go down to the front desk, which directed me to the lounge bar to order. The people at the lounge bar were difficult to get attention from, and rude on multiple occasions. The room service dinner that was delivered was excellent.
