Stayed for 2 nights for Winter Wonderland and a night out in London. Hasim on reception looked after us and was great. The room was comfortable and the location was good. Coffee and filtered water in reception was a godsend. Will stay again.

The reviews talk for themselves ... we have been here in maxbe 2018 NOT to recommend!!! The area is perfect BUT the "Hotel" is trash. Dirty, loud (its better to get a room at the calm backside and dont care about the view! ) , the bed is the sleeping killer no. 1, bathroom pipes stinks as hell, unfriendly and really bad english besides one person who is super kind. We had our worst experiences about a stay over there. They should pay people to stay at there house not vice versa. and btw. Fotos seem realy nice BUT aint what you get.

Avoid this hotel at all costs!!! We chose this hotel because it was so close to where my brother was getting married!! We checked in the night before and I was sorley disappointed. The room was very spacious but the carpet was really dirty. It was warm in the room so I went to turn on the fan and couldn't believe how much dust was on the fan. If I could upload photos I could show you. Then I went to put clothes in the wardrobe and had to stop as the shelf at the top of the wardrobe was so full of dust it made me feel sick. We were so tired from our journey though so just kept the stuff in the suitcase and got into bed. I was quite nervous but the beds seemed clean enough. Then around 1am there was banging on the door next door on and off for half an hour waking up the children. I didn't want to open the window and say anything as I was a single mum on her own with the kids. Eventually i fell asleep about 3am and awoke at 5.30am from the noise of the traffic outside as the window that was supposed to have a second screen was not fitted so it was really noisy. So we got up and started to get ready for the wedding as this was the whole point of the stay. When I went into the bathroom to go in the shower I could not believe my eyes. The whole shower head was not only broken but rusty beyond belief. There was no way I was going to put myself or my children's health at risk by using this shower. So we dressed and packed up all of our stuff and left the hotel immediately. So I went to my brothers wedding without a shower and clean hair as did my children! All for the grand price of £179 for one night!!! Disgusting!

Good location. Thats it. The place needs a lot of work- the room was huge, but the floor carpet was very mouldy and dusty. There were 2 double beds, but the bedsheets gave me an itch, i had to use one of my tops to sleep on. The bathroom was mouldy and had a weird smell, and it was dirty. The lady on reception - Steffani is really good. Very chirpy and helpful. She is the only good thing about that place. We didn’t want to go back to out room, even after a tiring day of walking around the city.

I just stayed for 10 days. Everyone there was very helpful to me. This is not the nicest hotel in London, but it doesn’t pretend to be. This place is in a great location and The rate could not be better. There were some issues in the past at this location but that was with previous owners. The folks running it now are competent, kind, and attentive. If you want to stay at a hotel chain then go stay there. You will pay a lot more. If you are looking for a nice space that won’t break the bank, you’ve just found your hotel!

We spent 2 nights in this hotel (4, 5/2/23). This hotel is a nightmare for all travelers. For £90/night, we got a spindly smelly and life-threatening hole with no functional showers... even changing the room didn't help... the hygiene inspection should close this hotel...

Despite the reviews posted before by others, I decided to give this one a try. Stayed late December 2022; Very friendly checkin by older gentleman, good humor too. Room was a single bed for me on the second floor, nicely hidden in a corner. Yes, it’s not a large sized room. But it came at a very affordable price for being in the city. It was clean. The bed; clean. Definitely no bedbugs as reported by others. Bathroom; clean and functional. One miniature of shower gel was provided. There was WiFi and a TV, both of which I didn’t use. At the reception, crisps and candy is available for free. Also free coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Comfortable seating area at the entrance. Honestly; this should be my pick again for a future visit to London. I can only recommend based on my very recent experience.

Great location, great first impression. Beyond the reception area, in dire need of renovation. Rooms extremely hot, even on a cold winter night with the window open. Still, good value and very close to Baker St and Marylebone.

I booked long before I read the reviews...big mistake! This "hotel" should have a health & safety warning. Dirty, torn carpet on the stairs, unusable reception area and stairwell littered with boxes and baby paraphernalia. Fire doors with gaps where safety glass should have been installed. Dust and grime evident in all areas. A tiny budget room was what it said...budget. The window jammed open and wouldn't budge, slimey soap residue on the bath and a filthy toilet. The one saving grace was clean sheets & towels but no mattress protector...best not to look. It is such a shame that this place is in such a state as it is a brilliant location. Sort it out...

This is the worst place to stay ever, I had to stay here because its the only room I was able to afford such last minute, I did not read reviews before I came. No lift, so not suitable for disabled people, my room was a converted cupboard on the 3rd floor and the other rooms all had a separate hallway for their rooms. When I entered my room, I realised I had made a mistake as this door would not shut, the lock had actually broken, so to shut the door you had to slowly but forcefully hold the door shut and then turn the lock. This somehow worked after 10 minutes of trying. Not only this, but after a long day at work I was about to shower and there was no hot water, this also flooded the entire bathroom and continued into the "bedroom" as a lone woman, I didn't want to go down to tell reception this as 1, this was 3 flights of stairs and 2 as there was such an issue with the lock I didn't want the staff knowing I was going to be showering. However judging from the reviews they know the hot water doesn't work. There was no soap in the sink either/no kettle etc. The thing that surprised me, was clean sheets and towels. Especially when the dust was so thick on the floor and the shelf. The bed itself was completely lumpy and somehow wonky, the floorboards were also loose meaning that you tripled over on the screws. I accidentally deleted photos of the actual bedroom, but luckily kept a picture of the lock. Please don't stay here, I have travelled Europe and stayed in hostels, next time I will pay more for a hostel rather than stay here.
