Good customer service- I spoke to Kaz today on the phone after my policy auto updated to a new provider with an increased prize. She was able to go through a new quote for me which was a much better price. She was lovely on the phone and gave a great standard to customer service! Thank you again Kaz
My policy was taken out through a broker, but it's crucial to be cautious of the high rate of finance charged, as well as the potential for misleading information and poor communication from them and, subsequently, Source Insurance. The policy was not fit for purpose, and it was cancelled twenty-one months in without as much as an apology. I would advise you shop around. UPDATE Hi Alison, Yes, the FOS found that Source Insurance had not done anything wrong. It is a clever way to operate by keeping the responsibility at arm's length and through brokers at times. I think it would be better business practice to ensure the end user is provided with their documents sooner than 20 months after the policy has been taken out. To then cancel and offer a £10 refund due to a mistake in paperwork is not really an example of recovering a poor situation you were involved with. If there had been any acknowledgement or apology, there would have been more understanding and potential for a five-star good recovery of service review. Kind Regards Jason

My 2 phone calls to Source this afternoon (to help me pay a premium) were really good. I was talking to a human (Helen) within only about 3 minutes and she was friendly and efficient. In contrast - Nat West took nearly 2 hours to not solve a problem and IKEA (in Germany) were rude and utterly unhelpful

My Parents are "insured" with this company, have had a flood, 2 weeks ago now. No dehumidifiers have been provided, it took them 9 days to appoint a contractor, when he gave his estimate, they said that was too expensive and will need to send a loss adjuster round. Still no drying equipment has been sent. Their floor looks like a whacky fun house and is dangerous (They are in their 60s!). It's damp and cold in their house, which is also dangerous. Do not use this company, I don't expect them to care, but I expect them to actually do their job.
Terrible experience. Cancelled policy, as got better deal elsewhere, only to discover they set up a new DD on my bank account without my knowledge or authorisation and have been taking payments for 7 months. I have no policy paperwork or any contact from them to say that a new policy and DD will be setup. Spent 25 mins on phone getting nowhere, told I would be put through to the complaints team, after being on hold for 5 mins, I was conveniently told that no one in the complaints department was available, and I will supposedly get a call later today. Bank now investigating and has been reported to the financial ombudsman.
