5 of us wanted a weekend for a friend's 40th. Jen the host was amazing, answering any questions I had before arrival, really friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and it was amazing, beautiful setting lovely modern feel inside and country feel outside. From the amazing hot tub to the comfy bed with high quality sheets we could not of asked for anything more. Thanks Jen for allowing us to have a lovely relaxing weekend where great memories were made.
So we had a weekend in London, my other half’s daughter found this place and we booked for 3 nights (Friday through to Monday) On arrival check in was very simple and we opened the doors to a beautiful 2 bed lodge and an amazing annex. Parking for 2 cars, a lovely garden with a delightful hot tub. The cottage was nicely decorated with good quality utilities and furniture. Both the cottage and the annex has everything needed from washer, fridge freezer, dishwasher to the toaster. We wanted for nothing at all whilst there. The location is perfect, in a lovely leafy country lane kind of street. This is a couple of minutes drive to shops night life and supermarkets and only an 8mile drive to the train station. Really handy and yet out of the way location. We had a little problem on the Sunday when the toaster blew the electricity. We contacted the owner and she was on it like a shot. At the lodge within 20 minutes asked us not to use the toaster reset the electricity and could not be more apologetic. Another half hour later she knocked on the door again, and again full of apologies with a brand new toaster. She said she did not want us to be without. I don’t think you can get any better service than that. I also liked the fact she did not just turn up to check the hot tub she rang us and arranged a time to pop and check it. She is a really cheerful chatty lady who just seems genuinely wanting to give people a beautiful place to stay. We will be back next year at some point for another visit. Very nice cottage, we just spend 9 days here on our London trip. It’s very luxurous, all you need is there. The hot tub is marvelous, when not being in the city. Bus stop around the corner, railway stations and supermarkets only a few minutes away by car. The owners are very nice and warm! We’ll certainly be back when we visit London again.
