If you expect basic trust, security and protection of your patient rights and medical data, avoid Clinica London. I had the most unprofessional and unacceptable experience with Dr Harry Petrushkin earlier this year. I visited Clinica London privately for a formal diagnosis of new eye symptoms after inconclusive findings at Moorfields NHS A&E. In session we discussed one diagnosis; the official consultation summary then recorded a completely different diagnosis which had not been discussed, and falsely presented it as pre-existing and under his care for several years at Moorfields. That letter, plus incorrect insurance forms (including wrong information like the consultation location, treatment plan etc.), were submitted to my GP and insurer, leading to claim rejection and blocking me from accessing continued medical care and further, time-sensitive investigations. There were multiple transgressions by Dr Petrushkin. He used an unregulated, personal AI tool to record and auto-generate the consultation summary, which he misrepresented as being Clinica-owned and operated when seeking my consent (which was an explicit condition of my consent, and that any notes would be shared for approval with me first which they were not). He also used his own external employee rather than his authorised Clinica-appointed secretary to handle my clinical paperwork and medical information and communications. He acknowledged these errors and accepted the role they played in contributing to inaccurate information being communicated to my GP and insurers, and promised to retract and re-issue documents reflecting what was actually discussed in session and the diagnosis that appears in Clinica’s own records, system audit logs and consultation notes. Six months later, nothing has been corrected; the false history and diagnosis remain on my record with my GP and insurer. Clinica’s response made matters worse. From the start, I was met with resistance and provided misinformation about Clinica’s policies - details of their complaints procedure and data policies were hidden and then ultimately not followed. Ms Jane Olver (who is apparently the owner, data controller and complaints manager) failed to follow Clinica’s own complaints procedure or follow the established escalation pathways. The outcome relied on hearsay from the doctor that contradicts Clinica’s records and the documented evidence I provided. Despite knowing an unregulated, unlicensed external AI tool and unauthorised personnel were involved in record keeping and data mismanagement or protected Clinica patient information, Clinica did not capture nor provide any source notes to support the letter and false summary and refused to retract a letter that did not originate in Clinica systems and has no verifiable source. They claim all recordings have been deleted and were never retained, and the only source is the GP letter which has been proven to originate outside of Clinica systems per my completed Subject Access Request. They also denied a proper Tier-2 review or complaints appeal or escalation process as stated in their policy, instead referring me to ISCAS for external adjudication, despite Clinica not being registered with ISCAS! Patients should be able to trust that their data will be safeguarded and their records will reflect what actually occurred in session. Clinica London did not have any past medical records as confirmed by my completed Subject Access Request, nor did they provide any evidence of a pre-existing diagnosis or long-term care history alleged by Dr. Petrushkin, yet they refused to correct the record or hold their doctor to account. What should have been a straightforward consultation has become a permanent regret and a falsification of my medical record without any available course for correction. My advice would be to stay away from Dr Harry Petrushkin and Clinica London.

I came to Clinica for a chalazion injection and walked away with swelling, migration of the steroid under my eye, and zero direct response from Miss Olver who's been hiding behind the skirt of 'Clinic Coordinator' since I raised this issue urgently β€” a behaviour I find cowardly and alarming from someone who is supposed to have sworn the Hippocratic oath. Reception eventually told me the drug used was triamcinolone 0.5ml β€” an excessive volume for a tiny 2–2.5mm chalazion. I was offered a review more than a week later (far too late clinically) only having requested it three times which still has not been finalised. On top of that they charged me Β£300 for 'operating theatre' which was basically a room with the reclining chair with some white cloth over it. Overall they have ripped me off Β£1000 for the entire experience. Just to compare, my usual doctor has injected me in a cloakroom with poor light, managed to find an optimum dose of steroid with zero complications and chalazion vanished every time. I paid privately for care and expected competence and accountability. Her 'NHS background' clearly shined through. Even in the beginning of an appointment she has fiddled around with malfunctioning equipment, wasting time and looking unprofessional. She has also noticed my eye corner chalazion only when I pointed it out which should have been my warning sign clearly, if she can't see herself why does she treat patients? If I had a choice I would have opted in for a younger doctor that can still see. Overall, if you value timely follow-up, transparency about medication and doses, and a clinician who will own their work β€” look elsewhere. As a baseline, they should have showed me the drug and explained the procedure and the doses and they have not even done that. I have asked whether the capsule would be pierced and heard mumbling in the likes of 'I will try'. Additionally, they have given me eye drops with another patient's name on it, but at this point I wasn't even surprised.

I recently visited Clinica London for the removal of a spot under my eyelid, and overall, my experience was quite positive. The doctor was exceptionally professional, welcoming, and created a warm, calming atmosphere throughout the procedure. The clinic’s environment was beautiful and soothing, which definitely helped ease any anxiety I had. The pricing was on the higher side, which is understandable given that it’s located on Harley Street, but I felt the quality of care justified the cost. However, the only drawback was my interaction with the receptionist. I was a bit disappointed by the tone and the persistence when they followed up on a Β£17 prescription invoice a day after the visit. This was a minor hiccup in an otherwise smooth experience. In summary, Clinica London offers top-notch medical care in a lovely setting, and while the reception could be improved, the overall experience was excellent.

I went to Clinica London for a private dermatological treatment consultation. Having paid for and seen the doctor, there was no follow-up with the treatment that I wanted. I contacted the clinic multiple times but never received any of the follow-up information I was promised at the time of the office visit. After posting the previous unedited review, the office contacted me and apologised for their error. They have since followed up with me and we are moving forward with treatment. The treatment was as expected and I am more than satisfied with the results. Further, both the staff and the doctor followed up with post operative calls to check on my healing process. I fully recommend Clinica and plan to use them again.

Wasn’t really happy with the service. Not experts in severe or chronic dry eye. Felt dismissed and not listened to in the end. Dr has manner of a strict school ma’am. Found another doctor. The younger lady is much better. I guess they specialise more in surgery and other bigger treatments.

I currently see Jane and Jennifer for my eyes and dermatology needs respectfully. I've never met two kinder individuals, who take the time the explain everything that is happening/what they are doing to do. They always have my best interests at heart, and make the management of my conditions very simple. Their bedside manner is calming, reassuring, and overall kindness. I am so thankful for these ladies and the incredible practice they have here at Clinica.

So disappointed with their irresponsible attitude. About 3~4weeks ago, I had surgery to get my chalazion removed at Clinica London. I had had it for almost one month and it was so hard that it didn’t seem to be gone anytime soon. So I booked an appointment for the consultation and had surgery on the same day. After the surgery, I thoroughly followed all the instruction I was given. I even checked the time when taking medication. However, despite the surgery and treatment I did follow, I am still suffering from it. Actually it has never been gone! I still have it in my lower eyelid. I contacted Clinica London straightaway and explained about my situation. However, they just kept saying I have to pay the follow-up consultation fee to see Miss Olver. Cant believe their irresponsible attitude! I literally wasted a whole month and my money.

Yesterday I received treatment for an issue with my eye by Clinica London. My whole experience from booking a consultation on the phone to the treatment itself was extremely efficient, stress free and an all round pleasant experience. All of the staff at Clinica are very friendly and made feel at ease. I highly recommend you go through Clinica London if you require their services.

Jane was able to book me in the same or next day for an eye problem that was making my life miserable. Just 1 day after a short treatment, my eye healed and hasn't caused me any issues since using some light eye drop treatments to keep the eye protected. She was very reassuring and explained the whole problem and why my eye was causing me so much pain. Can't recommend enough :)
