Absolutely abysmal service this pharmacy needs to get a grip & lern to treat customers with respect & stop blaming customers for their inadequate business I will never use again minnus 100 out of 10. DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE MESED ABOUT.
Went in to buy Zovirax. They charged me £9.45. Nearly twice the usual price!! Was so gobsmacked I paid and left as I needed it. Will never go back! This is why people use Amazon.
Now closed between 1-2 for lunch fair enough but it’s 14:50 and I’ve been stood outside in the cold for 15 minutes in a queue of three people. No other customer is waiting inside the pharmacy and they have only just seen to the first person waiting. Absolutely no excuses for this abysmal level of service. I know they blamed covid to begin with but that old chestnut is being abused by numerous businesses now to get around understaffing and cutting costs. I feel for the elderly and infirm who would be waiting outside perhaps up to an hour whilst the pharmacists get their act together. How long does it take to put together a prescription?!
I've used the Pharmacy for many years. The polite and friendly staff have always done their best to advise me and help me get my medications quickly. The last two years have been tough with Covid, and the queuing outside is sometimes a drag when the weather is bad, but I have no other complaints.
Long queues on the street still, rain or shine. Today 2 people left the queue frustrated and without their medication. On entry 1 staff member serving, the other 3 were gossiping about playgrounds and Disney holiday theme parks. When I dared to suggest more should be serving customers I received extremely short shrift; a defensively hostile response. Older people in the queue outside looking frail... not good and please no excuses about C19 - its just bad service. They don't answer the phones either...
Booked a flu vaccination several weeks ago which was confirmed by them, only to be notified a few days before the appointment that it had been cancelled. Telephoned the Chemist direct who informed me that they had run out of stock! What is the point of arranging an appointment with this Chemist for a flu vaccination several weeks prior. Surely stock should have been put to one side for allocated appointments. A truly appalling service in these times.
I went in to collect a prescription & drop off a DPD parcel. The person that greeted me didn't know how to sort the DPD drop off so called a colleague over by calling "young lady?" Which I felt was rude to her colleague. My sympathy evaporated quickly though as the middle aged lady that came over to help me was unbelievably rude to me, even chastised me Infront of other customers for trying to drop off a parcel that was "too large". Firstly, I'd consider it a medium sized parcel at 43x43x17cm, it certainly wouldn't have occurred to me that it could be considered problematic.. Secondly there's absolutely no information anywhere prior to arriving about asking you to please use a different drop off of you have a large parcel let alone a size guide. I was made to feel so stupid, publicly, and felt so embarrassed that I was apologising and didn't collect my prescription. Now I've had chance to double check I didn't miss the information somewhere, I completely retract my apology, and have made an official complaint to the company instead of this branch. I was completely right to have thought I could drop my parcel off with you, I gave weight and dimensions when I booked the drop off, and paid. You shouldn't offer the service if you can't actually do it, and you certainly shouldn't be so rude to your customers - even if you thought you were right you still wouldn't have been justified in behaving that n way. I should point out that they did take my parcel, but I was n heavily told off for it and told literally "not to do it again!".. Really appalled by the way they treat their colleagues as well as customers, competitor pharmacies are too easy to find to be treating existing customers like that.
