Disgusting staff and service, wait 2 weeks for insulin for a type 1 diabetic and advised to ring 111 as their insulin had gone somewhere else even though they'd rang to say it was there. This is not the 1st time so it's getting reported!!

I’ve been using this pharmacy for some years now with no problems, the last few times though have been horrendous, the staff are snotty, miserable and bitchy especially the mother and daughter, who were quite openly talking about me thinking I couldn’t hear. I’ve been stood in there for an hour before now waiting for my hubbys prescription from being told it’s ready to then saying the item has been discontinued, and other items weren’t available for at least 7 days where one of them was antibiotics for aspiration pneumonia!! Went up Asda and got everything that afternoon. I think sometimes they just like making you wait. Obviously I’ve now changed chemists.

The terrible staff need to remember they are not doctors and how to speak to people properly if advice isn't asked for it should not be given and certainly not openly discussed loudly infront of other customers. The old lady with long hair in pony tail is a disgrace

Been a Customer for over 35 years both of Rowlands and the previous owner. Unfortunately the standard of service has deteriorated badly. I'm not blaming the staff, they have always been great, even when hard pressed. But the length of time it now takes for a prescription to be prepared is getting longer and longer.Just been for a prescription that was ordered a week ago. After a wait of 25 minutes to get to the counter I was informed the item had been out of stock but would be ordered and available this afternoon! So I will have to return and possibly face another lengthy wait. What is the procedure when items are not in stock? Shouldn't the customer be contacted and informed ASAP and not have to wait till calling to the pharmacy, on the presumption that the order is ready?

It's ok for what you want and for the price.

Totally incompetent. Supposed to get text alerts when medication is ready to collect, this doesn't happen. Which means you have to telephone to check if medication is ready: a cheery voice will tell you it's all ready to collect, this is never true ! When you arrive the medication is never ready so you are told to either come back or wait. Even when you do this there are often items that are not in stock and you have to return AGAIN, but you've been assured twice that " its all ready to collect " The place is chaotic, boxes of prescriptions stacked all over the floor meaning that even on your 3rd visit you are still kept waiting as they search for your medication. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

Too much single use plastic bags used when issuing prescriptions. I had two items in three plastic bags. One in each and then one to contain both. Some of the bags show a recycling symbol but most Councils do not recycle them.
