Have been on the hunt for the best fish and chips around for ages! this one hits alll the spots perfectly cooked fish and chips are soooo goood, though have to give it a 4 star only because its Cash Only, otherwise you have to download the APP and the app isnt the greatest. Otherwise love it!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely outstanding! Mother Hubbard’s really sets the bar when it comes to fish and chips. The fish is huge, perfectly cooked, and flakes apart beautifully, while the batter is crisp and golden without being greasy. The portion sizes are more than generous, and the taste is second to none — easily the best fish and chips I’ve had. Great value, great service, and a meal that leaves you more than satisfied. Highly recommended!l
Such a lovely little fish shop! The food was super fresh and tasted amazing — you can tell they really care about quality. Abbey was brilliant, really friendly and welcoming, and she made the whole visit feel relaxed. She even suggested a dish I wouldn’t normally try, and it was delicious. Great spot for fresh fish, tasty meals, and top service. Can’t wait to go back!
Top fish and chips as always. Unfortunately have to score as 4 star due to false advertisement of accepting card payments, but in fact it’s cash only. Small Fish and Chips only £5 between 11am to 4pm.
Come here pretty often don't buy much at a time because the portions are huge (love that!). Quality and quantity from here. Also the staff are always lovely, very welcoming. I think it's nice to have places you genuinely enjoy going back to because of great experiences. Thank you!

Poor is being generous chips hard bits some tasted raw, some discolored green, ketchup / mayo sauces have to be purchased separately, Can of pop room temperature fridge isn't switched on, Fish was okay but alot of batter less fish but chips were not good at all. I wouldn't come back not sure what the fuss is about not worth the money at all
Fish and chips were delicious, prices are a little premium but very happy with overall quality of the food. Added extra salt and vinegar as requested via uber eats and the curry sauces was tasty along with the pie. Pleased customer.
