This pharmacy seems to have had a staff and management change. And for the better. Prescriptions are ready almost straight away or if something needs ordering it is in the next day. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pharmacy seems alot cleaner and more stock on the shelves. I recommend this pharmacy and suggest people give them a second chance.

Rude, discriminatory staff. This is the worst pharmacy there possibly is. The staff are unprofessional, uncaring and sneer and laugh at patients. I had the displeasure of being verbally abused by one staff member and when I requested information regarding the complaints procedure I could hear two of the counter staff talking about me. Childish behaviour! they even went as far as bending below the counter to talk about me, their comments I could hear. During my wait I witnessed unprofessional staff behaviours, talking about patients. Particularly Sal and Olivia, who, even went as far as bending below the counter to talk about me, their comments I could hear, laughing asking ‘is she still here’ etc. The Locum O'sas was verbally abussive me and acted in an aggressive, threatening manner, I was humiliated. I requested complaint details from (Sal) however, she told me to leave the store. Reluctantly, they provided me with a email address to submit my complaint, which, I have taken forward. This is the most unprofessional behaviour I have ever witnessed, I have made a formal complaint to the pharmacy, which, typically they have not responded. I think this pharmacy requires investigation by the General Pharmaceutical Council. Furthermore, this pharmacy looks like it is on the verge of closing down, the shelves are empty and literally every patient was told its' out of stock or it is not in yet. Edit* The reply received from the owner is an insult. I have actually been preoccupied with family bereavements and was going to leave it. I have NEVER and would NEVER be rude or aggressive to any NHS staff member. To also address the false accusations provided by who knows ? A friend? One of the staff members mentioned above and also some other reviews, posts distasteful profanity and violent behaviour on social media, says it all really. Update** Seems childish to respond to me via this method. I responded to your email - sent to Pat, you can check for yourself. I agree aggression is never acceptable. That is why I have never and would never conduct myself in such a way. Unfortunately, your staff member did on that day and I have evidence of this. It is sad that instead of addressing the issues raised not only by myself but many others, you feel the need to use blanket tactics and false allegations. The mere back and forth of these responses via this method supports what I and others have highlighted. I am no longer going to participate in this childish manner, there are enough reviews for you to make positive changes.

Been using these for a long time and have always found all the staff to be polite, friendly and knowledgeable I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for local chemists who maybe new to the area or fed up of the one the currently use. I always find using local independent businesses give so much better service than the bigger national options who tend to come in and swallow up these smaller businesses

So slow! The lack of eye contact when you walk in, the staff don't greet you, they don't look happy to see you, I have rarely found they have any of my orders in stock, they seem to take so long to find your prescription and then make it up. Bad attitude from one of the women, she looks like she'd rather not be there. Whilst there are queues of customers you've got staff chatting about their weekends and asking who would like a coffee...just a really bad atmosphere there. The one on Wood church Road opposite Sainsbury's is soooo much better!

I was in this pharmacy at the time of this ‘incident’ stated below and I have to say I was absolutely disgusted by the patients behaviour, you was asked to leave because you was swearing and there was a child in the shop, I’ve never seen anything like it in my life, these girls work so damned hard every single day under the pressure they are under and do not deserve customers like your self telling complete and utter lies! I was stood closer to the counter than you were and no nasty comments were ever made by the staff they just carried on with their work, I’m disgusted that someone can just make up lies so easily

I appreciate that in the current climate, working in a pharamacy can be difficult and added strain of getting stock can prove frustrating. I also appreciate people moaning at you can put you in a bad mood, but maybe if you didn’t treat all customers like they’ve moaned at you and where pleasant to converse with, your day might be a bit better. However, upon my visit today, you instantly walk into a bad atmosphere. Colleagues ranting about how they aren’t appreciated in front of customers who in that moment, where not moaning or complaining. I patientally waited as I appreciate staff are doing multiple things at once. As I was waiting, multiple rants could be heard about how they just get moaned at, how no one appreciates them and how they “couldnt bare” certain CUSTOMERS. At one point, another customer said that he appreciated what they did, only to be met with ‘I’m going to jump off a bridge’. Whilst this was said in a ‘jokey’ way, given the setting your working in, you don’t know who may hear or what certain customers may have experienced. It is wildly inappropriate to say this infront of people you don’t know, but your working in a chemist where people with mental health issues will be coming to seek help and get medication. Honestly, I get people have bad days in work but this is not a one off occurrence. I have now changed where I get my repeat prescription

The pharmacy doesn't usually stock a medicine on my prescription, so I made sure to give the prescription to them a week before I needed it. They got it from the manufacturers before I ran out, even though they're always so busy! Can't be more grateful for the effort they put in

An absolute joke of a pharmacy. Worst customer service ever. Gave me wrong prescription and then expected me to pay again to get correct one. Always rude and miserable looking. AVOID AT ALL COSTS ( given 1 star as would not let me leave zero)

1st time back here in 2 years . Nothing has changed. Where do the get these staff from, the bottom of the barrel. Common curtesy and good customer service should come 1st. If they weren't attached to the Surgery they wouldn't survive.
