Appalling experience every time. On my most recent visit I was ignored for a good 10 minutes, despite standing at the till and several members of their staff milling around - no cursory glance / hello / sorry for the wait - nothing. When I was finally spoken to it took another ten minutes to tell me they could only fill half the script. Fine, I’ll take what you’ve got. Waited a further ten minutes, whilst about 5 of them chatted and joked in the back, only to be told the meds the did have were out of date. 35 mins for rude, slow and inept staff. Horrendous.

Asked to come for BP monitor , booked appt weeks ago after trying 2 days to speak to someone about it. Arrive chemist , 3 people waiting for assistance , every one complaining how Welsh’s has deteriorated since moving from Banks Rd. My Welch was excellent, so professional, the staff helpful. Today, told couldn’t fit monitor as problem with computers and can’t book another appt. No one at front of chemist to assist at all for 10 mins. Utterly dreadful, and to make it worse,a tatty , dirty looking shop. I now live in Heswall, lived WK 65yrs, the whole place has gone down. Will have to wait another few weeks for appt , definitely won’t be at Welsh’s . Really sad to see a shop like this when I remember how it used to be.

Have moved chemist. Since changing ownership it’s gone from the best chemist I’ve known to the worst. Cleanliness, the shelves are filthy, the floor hasn’t seen a brush or a mop for days and these are the areas we can see. Was given medication without instructions or use by dates. Phoned for help and information, the member of staff had a thick accent, was rood, unhelpful asked me to hold then cut me off.

We would like to thank Welsh's Pharmacy in West Kirby for their immense help a week last Friday when we needed urgent medication for my father-in-law. The GP's prescription could only be partially filled and Welsh's rang aound to see if any other pharmacy had the medication. When this failed, they provided options for alternatives which I then took to the GP who, just before Welsh's closed, issued a new prescription. Welsh's pulled out all the stops and I was able to get the medication to the nursing home for 6pm. Sadly, my father-in-law died the following day but the medication ensured he had a calm and peaceful end. Thank you so much Aysu and the whole team,

Had both the Flu and Covid vaccinations, and the young lady giving them was extremely considerate and gentle, so much so, that I was tempted to request any other booster jabs that may be available as I knew I was in safe hands. I would highly recommend getting vaccinated here.

Great customer service. Always extremely helpful & knowledgeable. Fiona and her staff certainly go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble.

The customer service I received from Fiona at this pharmacy was second to none! Actually outstanding! She went above and beyond to get a prescription for my daughter and even called me on the day we were flying to say she had the prescription ready if I could get in to pick it up. Thank you for your help and super service!

Awful! Worst customer experience I have ever had!! No communication; no acknowledgement as you enter the chemist; no letting you know if they have the items; that they are even looking for the items!! Pharmacist said, when I said "Hello" that she was having a conversation with her colleague when I walked in which is why I wasn't acknowledged. I suggest you stop having a conversation with your colleague and pop your head over the counter and say, "hello, we'll be with you in a minute" then continue your conversation with your colleague. Literally NO letting the customer know if they had the items in stock; if they were getting them ready; how long they would be. I felt like an interuptuon and complete inconvenience to their day and it is not as though they were busy!! I was the only customer in there and as far as I could see, as no one came to acknowledged me, there were four members of staff!! I will never go to this pharmacy again!!
