   Service is excellent.. loved the positive attitude on both staff. Lad serving and young lady serving tables. The pizza was really good and the pie.. wow. I don’t get full easily but this bad boy was so filling.. jam packed with meat and richness. Love the idea for good with kids also. At £10 a meal that’s not bad considering the quality of the food. RECOMMEND 5*

   The car park was nearly full when we arrived, which demonstrated how popular the pub is. It's quite loud inside, which is reflected in the low ceiling & the wooden furnishings. The staff were excellent at seating us at our table, taking the drinks order & giving us time to view the menu. The food was excellent. You are given 2 hour time slots, which is quite common with a lot of pubs these days. There are TV screens in the pub, which, on the occasion we were there, were used for large sporting events.

   As first-time visitors to The Hermit Inn, we were impressed by the ambience, standard of service and the quality of the food. It's obviously a very popular spot, based on the number of customers when we visited on a Saturday lunchtime. The pub is on the route of a number of popular walks, and arriving by foot to such a welcoming pub is pleasant indeed. If you're planning to eat, booking a table is recommended; the booking slots are a generous two hours. The staff dealt with the steady flow of customers professionally, and with a friendly and welcoming demeanour. The menu has a good selection of dishes. Our food arrived quickly, a credit to the staff in what looked like a tiny kitchen. The food was tasty, and well-received by all our group. Would definitely visit again.

   Lovely pub. Community owned I believe. Somenice local craft beers and well kept and pulled ales. Famous for the best view from a toilet in GB. Busy and obviously popular.

   Had a great time here. Went for a walk beforehand, into burley and wharfdale although the other direction there are some great routes right into Ilkley and the moors. Took the dog along and he was welcome, there were a lot of dogs there so depending on how yours is with others you might want to consider this. Great view when sitting outside as well. The service was great but we did have to wait about an hour for our food. They kept coming and updating us on how long and appreciate they were busy. The food when it came was excellent. So tasty could tell it was all fresh and prepared there.
