   I normally don’t leave reviews, but I feel this needs to be said. The customer service I experienced was extremely rude and unprofessional. The employee’s behavior was not only disrespectful but escalated to the point where he seemed ready to start a fight. That is completely unacceptable in any business setting. No customer should ever be treated this way. Management needs to take this matter seriously.

   Please read. Bit long but it's true..This was my first visit. Amazing food. I have been staying in Barnard Castle since few months. which is quite a drive from Darlington. I was really searching for a halal restaurant. And guess what I found the best place. To be honest they accept only cash. But I wasn't having cash as I didn't know about it. To my surprise the staff told me to order and pay later. Therefore I ordered food I had the food and when I went to the till to pay online to his account. Believe me he said my food was free. I mean I was really surprised to see that. I wasn't even carrying any cards to withdraw the money. So I humbly told him I will come back and pay the cash next time. But he replied that I don't pay. It's fine. I was feeling so happy and also very strange as no does this in today's world.

   It’s nice hot food in an honestly nice , clean and renovated space, I will give it a pass. No the best shawarma I’ve had by far, kabob overly salted and lacking in the right flavors.. Roti was amazing which was a plus. However, if I’m honest this food doesn’t light a candle to the middle eastern food culture we have in Michigan, though I guess that wouldn’t be a very fair comparison to begin with. Oh and pro-tip, do not come here within the last hour before closing, you will get some unpleasantly rushed service. Recommend a visit though!

   Great and busy kebab place in centre of Darlington. Great interiors and choices of traditional kebabs and dishes (I think kurdish or Arab?) Staff are attentive and friendly Food tasty. Dishes run out fast.. Recommend!
