Amazing and banging food. Lamb shish and the mix shawarma very nice hot and fresh and so tender packed with flavours. Complimented so well with their kabsa rice and yoghurt sauce. 10/10 would keep on coming back for more. Ample amount of seating available
I recently visited Charcoal Grill and had a fantastic experience! Our server, Abdullah Safdar, was exceptional. He attended to us quickly and efficiently, making sure all of our needs were met. His hospitality truly stood out, making us feel welcomed throughout our meal. The food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. Each dish was flavorful, leaving us wanting more! What really impressed me was the affordability. The prices were remarkably reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and service. The portion sizes were generous, making it easy to enjoy a great meal without breaking the bank. I also want to highlight the accompanying condiments—hummus, bread, and various sauces/chutneys. They were unique and added an extra dimension to our dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend Charcoal Grill for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and affordable prices! Place was almost empty and we ordered right away, but the food still took ages for two simple meals. Lamb was chewy and very fatty — edible but not great. When the bill came it was higher than the menu prices, and they said the menus were wrong. I paid, but it felt unprofessional and could be really stressful for someone expecting to pay the listed prices.
A bit of a strange experience although ultimately, the food was amazing and the server was polite. There doesn't seem to be any clear prioritising of customers based on when the order was taken, and service took about twice as long as you would hope. I think the server had too much to do, serving tables and then people coming to the counter, so can't really blame him. And there were a lot of tables with food and plates from customers who had finished, but I loved the food and will go back... they just need more staff.
First time in this restaurant. Friend dined before and recommended the venue. Food was tasty, fresh and big portions. Reasonable pricewise- you could order from under £10; ours was £15-£18 plus drinks. I saw there were lunch discount options but we came too late and on a Saturday. The venue is quite dark- dark walls and dim lighting which I don't like in restaurants - like to see what I'm eating and check the cleanness. Service not too bad but we had to repeat a lot and confirm a lot . A funny thing at the end when we requested a box for salad, staff offered ready boxed salad from the counter fridge, which we accepted, however, the tiny box we received was about 1/4 of the amount we had on our plate.
Ordered the Shawarma Wrap and it was absolutely delicious, service was very good and quick and the young man who served me was very decent and helpful. Will definitely visit again to try some other foods.
Hummus, Falafel and Chips are delicious. There wasn’t a lot of Shawarma meat in the wraps and there were no medium boxes so they just gave us extra chips. Honest of them to acknowledge it and food was decent. I feel like there wasn’t a lot of meat and more chips in there so it was a bit dry without sauce. Food was ready on time and quick to collect!
Went for lunch and purchased the chicken shawarma and lamb kofta meals. Food was mediocre and quite expensive. Shawarma was quite salty and wont be going again.
Ive been a few times over the years and I have got to say that this is a fabolous spot to eat some delicious Lebanese food. There is something everyone will love on this menu. They do the most delicious juicy grilled chimken here. I had a half chicken with rice, chips and salad and oh ma gawd it was a massive plate of food and the chicken was delicious. Partner enjoyed her meal aswell. 5 stars.
