   My experience with this letting agency has been extremely disappointing. Throughout my tenancy I looked after the property carefully and left it clean and in good condition, yet the agency pushed for a very high and unreasonable deduction from my deposit over some minor paint touch-ups. Communication felt one-sided and my concerns were not taken seriously. Rather than working with me to find a fair solution, the focus seemed to be on maximising charges. I found the approach unhelpful, unsupportive and lacking transparency. At every stage I felt like the tenant’s voice was irrelevant. The whole experience has been incredibly stressful and left me feeling taken advantage of. I would not rent through this agency again and would advise others to be cautious and document everything from check-in to check-out. ———————————————————————————- I would like to clarify that, according to the checkout report, I caused no damage, only minor patchy paintwork consistent with normal wear and tear after a one-year tenancy. The property did not require extensive redecoration or sealant, only a light touch-up of paint. My review reflects my honest experience dealing with the agency, including the tone and professionalism of their communications during the deposit dispute. I stand by the accuracy of my review and the way the process was handled.

   Highly recommend Lockwood lettings and management, I have used Lockwood to rent out and manage my property and I found them very conscientious and honest when finding me a tenant that suited my property, I totally trusted their judgement. All maintenance issues were revolved quickly using friendly and reliable contractors which gave my tenant piece of mind. I have also rented a property through Lockwood lettings and management and the whole process was quick and easy, having told them what I was looking for they found me a property straight away. They treated me fairly and were very honest throughout the whole process. Having never rented before they advised me step by step and was always on hand to give advice.

   We rented a flat to find after 1 month mould growing on the walls, on further inspection the walls behind the kitchen cupboards were black rotten with mould. The flat then started to get worse day by day as we found out the structure of the flat had rising damp issues. We was never told about this issue from Lockwood or the landlord when entering into agreement. The flat stunk everyday of mould and mildrew and the flat was over 80% humidity everyday due to no airflow or ventilation (air bricks etc). We had to spend an extra £100+ a months running the heating and dehumidifier as well as cleaning products to keep on top of the mould and condensation. We had a little baby which the landlord and state agents were aware of but they they had no duty of care. We did try and get money off the rent considering all of the above issues but instead they wanted to put the rent up! Avoid at all cost, they are liars and could not care less about you, not to mention their prices are outrageous. The address of the flat is 2 Alliance Court l, Anderson Drive, Ashford, TW15 1BH.

   I would like to say that I've never come across such a lovely Letting agency. They are like a family. Not only did they find us an adorable Landlord but a lovely home. We've been here almost three years and we're very happy. Claire was excellent and enthusiastic and went the extra mile to secure a home for us and Mark the manager is a lovely man with a great sense of humour who happily left things to Claire to secure our home.
