   If you’re looking for a stress-free home, I strongly advise steering clear of this rental agency. Our experience with them was deeply unpleasant and unprofessional from the very beginning. When I made an offer after viewing the property, the manager, Mitz, became angry and aggressive - a warning I wish I hadn’t ignored. Before moving in, we were denied several things we had been promised, including a basic check-in inventory report. When I asked for the reason in writing, communication stopped, and I was met with shouting and intimidation tactics instead of transparency. We lived in the property from September to January without a functioning heater. Their contractor would perform temporary fixes and blame us for ongoing issues. It felt like they were more interested in dodging responsibility than solving problems. Worse yet, a major bathroom leak caused severe mould and damp. When we reported it, we were blamed for “leaving water on the floor.” Repairs were delayed for months, despite being told it was a half-day job. Eventually, we had no choice but to move out due to the living conditions, which honestly, was a relief. The agency failed to set up basic utility accounts, leaving us to manage everything ourselves. Strangely, after we moved out, they created a new account in my name without permission and have since ignored communication from the energy company regarding closing our account. We continue to receive bills for a property we no longer occupy. It became clear why they refused to provide an inventory report: they rely on manipulating check-out reports to make unfair claims against tenants. The property was dirty when we moved in — we cleaned and improved it significantly. Still, they charged £300 for “cleaning” and £200 for a door handle that was already in poor condition and later failed due to neglect. Fortunately, we disputed these charges, and mydeposits ruled in our favor, returning our full deposit. This confirmed our suspicions about their dishonest practices. Six months with this agency was incredibly stressful. No matter how appealing the property may seem, if the management is this careless and hostile, it’s not worth it. I urge anyone considering this agency to read through reviews carefully. You’ll notice the genuinely negative experiences come from tenants — while the overly positive ones often seem suspiciously biased.

   I used Rogue Property Estates as a rental agent for my property from 2016 until I sold it in February 2025. Throughout this time I found the staff, Alex & Mitz, in particular, to be professional, responsive and helpful. They navigated the path of keeping both landlords and tenants happy very well. I always found them approachable and understanding to both parties They looked after the property very well and were always quick to inform me of any issues, as well as sourcing contractors to resolve the problem.    DO NOT RENT from this agent - we lost our full deposit £2423 because of made up faults and condition reports. Correct their check-in and check-out reports for the many inconsistencies right away. They will make you pay for overlooking them. Note and record all faults or they'll make you pay for them. Read the shopping list of negative reviews before considering to use this agent. Beware - this agent knows how to professionally stitch up tenants. They are only interested in retaining their relationship with landlords.
